I just moved here and wanted to try a place that is local. I went to their website and found a special for 14" specialty pizza for $10.99 which stated it was only good for online ordering.
I attempted to navigate their website, to no avail. It would not allow me to create a login, or start a delivery order online. After 15 minutes of trying to order ONLINE, I called.
Upon explaining to the lady on the phone what was happening, she notified me she could not honor the deal as it was only valid for online orders (do you see where this is going?). Oh my, let me try this again. I let her know their website was not working, and I would be happy to order online, but can't. I asked if they could honor the order over the phone.
Guess what her reply was.... ma'am, I am sorry but that is only valid ONLINE!
I asked for a manager, and after 10 minutes of discussing this issue his final answer was (you guessed it) this is only valid ONLINE!!!
I asked if he could process my ONLINE order for me, and he said he could not process the order ONLINE on my behalf. I would have to do this. (This is going so well so far)
I asked the manager if he had the capability to take care of a customer if their is an issue with their order, and he stated that .... yes .... he could take care of them. My last question to the manager, which he avoided 12 times (yes, I counted). Do you have the ability to override prices when someone places an order. The answer......YES!! I asked why he could not just override the price and honor their advertisement.
Guess what his answer was. Ma'am, I cannot as the offer is only good ONLINE!
Thank you for wasting 35 minutes of my time, calling me back and telling me it is my computer and not your website, and leaving me with ...... NOTHING!!!
I will be buying pizza somewhere else, I am thinking. Where has customer service gone to these days? Just make the customer happy and you will have their loyalty and...
Read moreYou need to be respectful to customers or they get upset and place a bad review.
I felt disrespected, provoked, and undermined among other lesser downgrades. You sure can destroy a child’s visit with his Dad that he get along with good. I thought that it would be an excellent idea to bring my son to get his favorite pizza from this place. I have been coming to this place for years. I called and ordered over the phone with the speaker phone hands free while both hands on the wheel turning on barker cypress and west road. My son wanted to eat the pizza hot from the stove. When I got to the restaurant the person owner/manager greeted me like usual. He have never handed my son candy. The owner/manager told me that I didn’t have to buy the food, I could go, he did not have to apologize to me. He acted lika crack smoker in boarded up house! I have never asked for an apology at all that day. I’m wondering why he would say that and was very angry. The manager/owner destroyed my time that I had to spend from all of the other places we could have gone. The provoking in the manor like I could get out. Like some bum at a coffee store…. I over looked this and payed for it any way because my son likes the spaghetti with meatballs. I was so upset and had to sit there. I felt like the owner/manager would attack me if I said something wrong. Because I said that “I would appreciate if you would have asked me first”. The owner/manager went on a rant. I started shaking and didn’t feel safe. The tone of his voice was like a step away from him throwing a knife at me. In self defense I would have really beat you up on the sidewalk with only my bare swollen up knuckles. No thanks for ruining the only day that I have had in 2 months to spend with my son. I will never again give you no more money, never go where ever you work at to...
Read moreI ate here 2 different days while I was in town. The first day I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken. This stuff belonges in a fancy, expensive restaurant! It is hard to find a really great Alfredo sauce without a metallic aftertaste, but this is it! It was cooked perfectly, and they run it through the oven giving just a slight crunchiness on the top. Perfection! I could not finish it so I had it for lunch the next day too and it warmed up in the microwave perfectly! The Alfredo sauce did not seperate like most do when reheated. My husband ordered a thin crust pizza with chicken, meatballs and lots of veggies, with NO cheese. It sounds weird but it was terrific! The meatballs were so unique and yummy! If I ever go back I will see if they put them on a sub. The second time I ordered from there we got a Hawaiian pizza on a regular hand tossed crust and wings. This is not the kind of food you expect from a takeout place. This is GOURMET pizza. The husband and wife team who own and run the place are super sweet and helpful. You can tell that they really care about their customers. I wish we had a Home Base Pizza near my home. Instead of Home Base it should be called Home Run because they hit it out of...
