Jack in the Box — Restaurant in Texas

I'm usually not one to place negative reviews but this one has to be done. 😕

Went through the drive-thru and without a greeting I was aggressively informed they were only accepting mobile orders. Regardless if I felt that was true or not I accepted that statement and drove around to the parking area to place a mobile order through the application. I ordered the chicken tater melt, stuffed jalapeno poppers, and a shake. I then followed the directions of my email receipt and go through the drive-thru to pick up my order in which stated that it would be ready at a particular time. This was not the case as it took them 17 minutes to prepare my small order after the expected ready time due to the employees clearly trying to avoid doing any further work whatsoever due to it being New Year's Eve. 🙄

After I finally received my order I immediately went for my jalapeno poppers and once I bit into one, I almost regurgitated it immediately as it had a strong sour sock smell to it along with it being cold and soggy. The chicken tater melt sandwich was fair but it was also cold and a bit soggy. The only mildly delightful experience or visit at this particular Jack in the Box was the milkshake.

Suggestion: Avoid going to this location during late night hours. The employees have no sense of urgency nor do they care about customer satisfaction. 🤨👎

The staff in this restaurant are RUDE. Specifically a girl named Gabby. Not only did she have a terrible attitude, but she deliberately took 27 mins to get us our food. We were on our way home from out of town, trying to feed our children, it was late, and we waited literally (looked at the computer behind the counter) waited 27 min and 35 sec for some food at a FAST FOOD RESTAURANT!! She caught an attitude as soon as we were ordering, and it only got worse. We were told to pull around, so they could keep their drive through numbers down, however, once we waited for 20 min I went inside, to see what was taking so long. Nothing. It took an additional 5-7 min and my wife coming inside for them to even ask me if I needed anything or to assist me. “Gabrielle V” FINALLT handed us our food but not without giving MAJOR attitude. She then proceeded to cuss and berate my wife and myself and followed my wife outside to our vehicle! My CHILDREN were in the car. We left with this girl yelling and cussing in front of the restaurant because she told my wife “you had an attitude first” because my wife asked for our sauces before we pulled around. Again, she had attitude before we ever got to the window. We have already made it known on reviews, and will be contacting the manager, franchisee, as well as corporate. Just moved to Texas. Never heard of Jack In The Box. Seems like every other commercial on TV is Jack In The Box. So I decided to try it. I am here to say THAT was the WORST BURGER I have EVER EVER EVER have received. I have been all over the world in the military and have eaten a lot of different styles of food, different styles, different flavors. After knowing what I know now even if they would have offered me the burger on a military discount or even free I would tell them to keep it. The burger had a piece of wax looking substance suppose to be resembling cheese, it was ice cold, plain with 1 piece of lettuce, The French fries were cooked in way overdo for a change oil. They stunk up my whole car with burnt oil odor. My dog wouldn't even eat the fries or the burger. It was the WORST $7 I've ever spent. NOT A FAN!!!!! Actually DISGUSTING. I CANNOT express enough how terrible this experience was. I thought White Castle burgers were bad, Jack In The Box, your top on the go hungry list if your restaurant was the only thing available.
