Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Texas

Several bad experiences at this location, if I could give it a zero star I would. First of all, the waiting time is ridiculous. Takes more than 15 minutes to get your food. The last time I was there, no one even bothered to take my order. One of the workers had her family inside the facility, they came out with food and drinks. After waiting for longer than 20 minutes, I decided to try the drive through. Waited for about 5 minutes and still no answer. Proceeded to the window and the manager just went off on me yelling and telling me I needed to order through the speaker. At this point, I was already upset at the fact that no one had still bother to take my order and her attitude just made things worse. I asked her why no one took my order? She went off again yelling and saying that if I didn't like it to go to another location. She seemed very stressed. After this last bad experience I have not been back to this location and will not ever be back. Hopefully the owner...

Wow. This place is a wreck. If ever I come here to order ice cream, I hear: "We ain't got no ice cream". The drive thru speaker either gets ignored or doesn't work. Employees run around outside on their phones, and I see this EVERY time I come up here.

Why do I keep coming? Because I really like Sonic and it's close to my house--- but sheesh---- at what point do we say, "Hey, it's time to crack down and do your job when you're clocked in!"? Worktime is not playtime, folks. Food prep matters. Service matters. Wait time matters. And having what you advertise on the menu MATTERS (especially when it's ice cream). What a waste! I hope this place improves soon, because like I said, I love Sonic, just not this one.😕

Edit: When I came earlier, I ordered something and they got it wrong, but at least this time the manager came out and apologized to me, which I appreciate. She doubled my order of boneless wings and apologized profusely, so maybe, things will get better with...

This was the worse experience I've ever had at a fast food place... Sat in line for 30 to 45 mins just to get a rt 44 ice water and 4 cheese sticks...wth... Will never go back there again... The young people wouldn't even take our order at the speaker... Told us to pull up to the window and they would take it... Finally after they came to the window... They were rude and wouldn't even let us tell them what we wanted... Horrible experience ever... I used to work at a Sonic and at the drive through no one should be there more than 4 mins... That's "FOUR MINUTES"... Not 30 to 45 mins... That's just ridiculous to make people wait that long and in the rain too... and to be rude to them on top of that... I will never go back there again. Not until they get better help at 7 o'clock at night. The owner and night manager needs to be on top of this and really fix...
