Jeremiah's Italian Ice — Restaurant in Texas

Update: Nov 2023: Still delicious! Our latest visit we tried the "German Chocolate Cake" flavor.

Exceeded all our expectations! A grand opening that deserves to use the word "grand."

Great ice cream prepared with great attention to details, highly trained & courteous staff, beautiful facility.

We live close by so we've been waiting months for the new Jeremiah's Italian Ice Lucas, TX location to open. Tonight's visit was everything we hoped for.

We arrived just before the evening rush. We entered and were greated by several smiling team members with an enthusiastic and fun "Welcome to Jeremiah's" which may seem hoaky to some people but for me, it sets the tone for the whole experience so I was impressed with the welcome and the beautiful paint job on the full wall mural.

They even have a more attractive exterior sign than all the other TX Jeremiah's locations we have been to. (That doesn't matter to most people but I notice those things)

After I scanned the entire immaculate facility inside and out, appreciating all the construction finish out and small design touches with how this brand new location is configured, (a habit of mine) we ordered 2 grasshoppers and a piña colada with vanilla soft serve and a "layer in" of cookie butter crumble.

I am a fan of the large size since it is not much more cost than the medium but my wife likes the small size and my daughter likes the medium so we covered all three sizes in our order. We also ordered 2 other mediums to go to take to our teen kids who didn't come with us this visit.

In our perception the prices are very fair and the ice cream is a high quality. Great value perceived and received.

The staff was super friendly, attentive, professional, focused and worked as a unified team so that everyone had a good time. This is how restaurant atmospheres are created. It's all about a great team. Jeremiah's hired and trained some great people who actually are not afraid to show their personality. All the smiles and positive attitudes everywhere creates a place you want to be and return to.

The night breeze was so beautiful so we sat on the front patio table (before they filled up) and the staff even brought our order outside to our table which was nice; they didn't have to do that.

Later on, the manager even went table to table just to check that everything was good and that everyone was taken care of.

5 star experience all the way around. It is apparent that a lot has been invested in many ways to make this Jeremiah's location special, a sincere thank you to the entire Lucas staff.

I came here on a whim today as I passed by in order to get to walmart. I remember that I somehow signed up for emails to this company a long time ago, so it was nice to be able to find one during the duration of me getting from A to B. Me being me I completely disregarded the store hours and open the door to which it was ghostly and vacant. The music was nice, and after a few seconds of realizing something was off, I walked back outside to check on the store hours which actually opened 10 minutes later. I stood outside for a second, until a short brunette notice me through the doorway and tried to come to open the door. I didn't want to look like a weirdo so I grabbed for the door and let myself back in, explaining I did not know that the hours were from 12 to whatever. She was super nice and asked me if I wanted to order something to which I said yes, that I had never been here before. Inside was friendly and colorful with the funky red and green frog colors. Along with the adorable green spoons you get with your ice cream that have a cute frog texture. I do think that the whole frog thing is adorable. There are four flavors sizes to choose from including a new tadpole size for younger kids. I actually ordered the small because I feel like that's the perfect amount of ice cream for anyone. The size is up or a little larger than I would imagine and I guess that is for people who want to share an ice cream. I find it very interesting that they use a slush based mixture for the ice creams, similar to a slushie or a thinned out snow cone. I chose chocolate slush with chocolate ice cream and obviously chocolate chips on top. It's creamy and super duper cold. The texture of the slush reminds me of snow outside with an interesting chocolate flavor. Almost like a mocha or a coffee flavor without the bitterness. I always enjoy chocolate chips inside my ice cream because it's always a nice crunch added. Overall the service was fantastic, she was nice and friendly and understood that I'm crazy sometimes and don't actually pay attention to the store hours. I think you get a decent amount of ice cream with a small, so I would say that it is worth the price. If you're looking something up that is interesting and different but still a nice treat, I do recommend this place. And from the billboard, you can try any sample of any flavor...

I ordered on the app and when I got to the store, the flavor I ordered wasn’t available. They told me they’d be able to make the flavor in 20 minutes. It took over an hour to get and I was never once updated. I have worked for this company and I know it doesn’t take over an hour to make this ice. the store wasn’t busy whatsoever so I don’t really understand. I would’ve just appreciated some communication. once I got my ice, the flavors I chose weren’t even correct but at that point, I didn’t even wanna deal with it anymore and was over 30 minutes away when I got home. Don’t appreciate my time being wasted, Will not be returning to...
