Ranch House Burgers Mission — Restaurant in Texas

The burgers are good but the service ruined it for us! We made a curbside order of five burgers at 7:33 PM. Mind you, before that they hung up three times on us because apparently they couldn’t hear us. After finalizing our order they told us the waiting was 45 min, which we were okay with. We get there get our order at 8:15 PM and mom noticed that we were missing stuff. They gave us only three of five burgers we had ordered so the girl went back inside and was supposed to put our ticket in. We waited and waited along with two other cars that were parked in the curbside pick up as well. I go inside and I ask for my order status, and they told me I had to wait another 30. At this point it was like 8:30 already. The front house was the worst, the girl (long hair in a pony tail and glasses) kept giggling as I told her how long we were waiting on our order, I truly could not understand what was so funny. I ended up telling her to get her manager and told her everything that was going on. She said that, “it was the first time she was hearing of it.” Sooo, no communication at all? She said that the only thing she could do was to give me a refund. That wasn’t of any help! I’m m sorry but I couldn’t just go home with three burgers, these was dinner for the family. So finally we get our order a few minutes after 9. If you cannot do curbside because you don’t have enough staff, don’t do it. There was another two cars next to me, when I left one of them was still waiting for his order. By the time we got home our fries were cold and saggy (the ones from the order that came first). This was a takeout order. First off, my order was incomplete, so I notified the girl I was missing my guacamole. She went to the back and brought me my guacamole - or so I thought. Upon arriving home, I realized they had smeared guacamole around a container (or gave me one used by another patron) and put it in my bag. I was extra upset that I ask for “no bacon” which lets them save a bit, and they insist on not giving me what I purchased (guac). I called and explained to the manager who was very apologetic and promised me a refund AND my properly prepared order (I had asked for my refund). I happily accepted this for my troubles..... except a few days later, I learned that I was lied to. No refund came. I called to question this, but the manager told me she had spoken to the owner who determined they had given me my food, so no refund was in order. Needless to say, this was upsetting, but they DID correct my order (I got nothing extra for my troubles). Next time, I’ll just take my business to Wallbangers. It is worth noting that the lettuce from Ranch House is trash. I told the manager I was satisfied with the initial solution, BUT it was low of management(and the owner) to change things up on me once they had been agreed to. We went on Sunday, and I ordered the chicken fried steak, the waiter said they didn't have that plate!! I have gone before and I was told the same thing, so I ordered the chicken fried chicken, and told the waiter I wanted my sides separate and fresh!! When the waiter brought my plate everything was at the plate!! I told him that I had told him that I wanted everything separate!! He said that that was the way the cook sent it, I told him I didn't wanted it like that cuz the salad water makes the chicken fried steak saggy!! He said he would tell the cook to put everything on the side!! I told him I don't want my plate that way, that they needed to do my plate again!! He took the plate in a rude way!! Approx 2 mins he comes with a chicken fried steak and said that steak had just come out!! He lied, that chicken fried steak was cold!! I told him that, and he just said, the cook said it was freshed!! The fries were cold and the macaroni with cheese was too!! That waiter didn't care, didn't even offer to do my plate again, ohhh, and he forgot the toast, brought it when we were leaving the place!! Bad waiter, he doesn't care about the clients, this waiter was sloppy and slow!! Than I went to the restroom, and I could hear him making fun of us, cuz of the food!!
