Schlotzsky's — Restaurant in Texas

The only thing good I can say is that the food was decent...if that is a good thing to say because it was supposed to be freshly made but it wasn't even hot when it was brought out. And I also said to him that it was for here and he brought it in a togo container...but other than that let's see... The counter help was rude and I had to wait about 5 minutes for him to come out from the back of the store. After seeing the flies on the cinnamon rolls I decided against dessert. The case didn't even have a door on it and was always open. The tables were dirty and the drink machine looked like it hadn't been cleaned in a week. I almost asked for a refund before I got my food after seeing all this. And I wasn't the only person to notice. The next customer stood there for a couple of minutes while the attendant swept up behind the counter and didn't even look up to see that he had a customer. I guess it was a good thing that he was at least attempting to clean up although I don't think anyone ever explained to the young man the ins and outs of actually using a broom and a dust pan because he wasn't very successful at this task either. I've been here many times before but never had this kind of experience. All in all I don't know if I will visit this location...

Horrible Service thus far. I know they are brand new but it is a Chain and there is a system in how things work.

I have been there twice now and I don't recommend them for a while. My first time was on their opening day because I was excited to have a semi healthy option in the area. I order 3 sandwiches and 2 of them came out wrong or cheap. I asked for a avocado slices instead of the guacamole because I am allergic to cilantro and they gave me 1 slice, not even enough to cover the sandwich while the other sandwich which was ordered with Bacon, it did not have it at all.

Today, I thought I might give them a second chance so I ordered a salad. 8 minutes after I ordered the salad, 2 people who ordered after me had already left the establishment with their orders. I asked to see what the hold up with the Avocado Cobb Salad (cold entree) and the cashier came back and told me, "I am sorry sir but there was no one at the Salad Station". That's it, no manager, no oh here have a soda on us. Nothing. Just I am sorry sir, but there was no one at the Salad Station. That's all I got. See if I come back. I will drive the extra 5 miles to...

This is the absolute worst place I have ever gotten food from; the staff does not speak English, it took me over 5 minutes just alone to order my food as the person at the window didn't understand the language; then the manager comes on and I had to repeat again twice what I wanted to order; I had double checked everything including to say that I did NOT want onions or olives on my sandwich and wanted a vinaigrette for my salad. Well, when I received my food (drive-through) and opened the bag to eat, the sandwich had olives on it; the salad had a ranch dressing and olives. I asked for avocado for my sandwich and was charged over $2 for it and it had the tiniest piece of avocado on it. The food also didn't taste very good and fresh!
