Went in two nights ago with my daughter and mom to grab some things from Walmart we had been driving all day and were starving so we decided to eat inside at the subway when we walked in. No one stays in front they have a bell to alert them someone is inside the restaurant. The young man was completely rude from the get. They were out of literally everything we ordered so we had to decide on other options and he was visibly irritated that it took a moment to change our orders and decide. He took straight up a full five minutes to make each sandwich. Again the entire time completely rude even when trying to joke with him and lighten the mood (I am in the service industry and I could never imagine treating anyone the way he did us or any of my coworkers doing so) he was so rude to the point that I wondered how he even interviewed and got the job. My mom then asked for water and I said just one small drink as well for my daughter and said to my mother I have a soda and bottle water in my purse from earlier there’s no point in me paying to get a drink I’ll just get a small drink for her. Looked at the young man said yes a water cup and a small drink please. You would assume the at means a small fountain drink we want to pay for but nope he hands us three clear small plastic cups obviously for water. As my mom is paying I said can I have the small drink cup he got extremely hateful and said you didn’t say small drink you said water. No. I didn’t. We discussed it right in front of you. When we went to pay my mom offered to pay for everything so I stepped back and she started the process and when she put her card in and it asked to tip she didn’t any other time she would at a place like that where tips shouldn’t be expected (this is a subway bit sonic not chili’s not a sit down restaurant or coffee place) we even tip when we do take out/to go at restaurants, beauty salons, movers etc but he was so rude she didn’t even consider it and he proceeded to RIP the receipt as it was printing out aggressively and then shoved it at her said not a single thing and walked to the back. We never saw another worker the entire time we sat inside and ate. Again as a server, bartender, and even in management in the past this behavior was disgusting and I’m also contacting subway corporate directly as well. I’ve left maybe one other maybe two reviews on a business in my whole 39 years and neither were negative reviews. The service was so bad that it needs to be addressed. Don’t get me started on the sandwiches and the one single thin piece of turkey on my daughters, and the single maybe half a piece of meat each on my moms BMT and then charge us over $30 with a side of complete attitude. I have never had a bad experience at subway. You go in you order you tell them what you want on it you say welcome in have a good night if you’re the employee at least and if you’re the customer you’re saying please and thank you and trying to uplift the employee probably making the bare minimum but as that employee you chose to do the job so act at least...
Read moreSunday 05/11/25 - My husband and I placed an order via mobile app on Sunday around 9:20pm, the app stops taking orders at 9:30pm. The pick up time on the app said '9:45pm', so we proceeded to head that way. Once we arrived, the door was locked and employees Tae Tae and Alexis said that they stop taking mobile orders at 9:15pm even though the store hours states that they close at 10:00pm. I used to work in the service industry (and Subway back in high school), so I completely understand that on slow days, you'd like to leave and get out by the close time, but never did as that is against policy. I don't like being that customer to come in late, but we were across the street at Walmart, so this was not a far drive whatsoever.
I was told upon arriving that a refund from manager Vernom would be refunding back my money with a confirmation email from 'subway pioneers', but I did not receive such email nor have I received a refund either.
Monday, 05/12/25 - I called the restaurant again asking for Vernom's contact information and the lady on the phone said that she has to make a sandwich for a customer really quick and would be right back with the information. I was on hold for 10 minutes while she was gossiping with who I believe would be co-workers. I called the number back over 20 times and to my surprise (not really), the phones were turned off. I even left a voicemail, but I have not received a call back.
This is not my first time expericing poor service at this location. I understand if you are understaffed, if you have ran out of ingredients, if you are overwhelmed with xyz, but clearly this location does not have the proper staff to manage a phone call.
Tuesday 05/13/25 - I have tried to call the restaurant again, but the phones are still...
Read moreAfter reading 37 reviews I was able to identify that a majority of them focused on a Subway at a different location which is unfair, I decided to take it up on myself to correct this discrepancy.
It is not often that I leave a 5-Star review especially for food service however this subway deserves it
Service: at approximately 5:30pm I entered the shop and was greeted with nothing but positivity and great attitude, I was served by Abby and Ayden whom both had great focus for there work and we're in my opinion Experts, they had excellent teamwork and prioritized my meal with a manner that's lacking in modern services. 5-stars to Abby and Ayden.
The food is excellent and prepared well, Ayden provided good conversation while maintaining focus on his task showing excellent multitasking skills.
I see Abby a few times a month and she is always smiling and has a positive attitude wether the day has been long and busy or not, a few times she has run the shift solo and provided excellent service every time.
10/10 for the Duo they work well together and provide Subway with an excellent team that focuses well on customer...
