On Friday, Sept. 15th,I called and ordered a pick up from Tailgators. It was 5:00 pm when I called, and asked for it to be ready for 5:30 pm pickup. Upon arrival, was asked to wait as it wasn't ready. Waited about 10 minutes.. finally get food and drive directly to the neighborhood across the street from the restaurant. Less than 5 minutes. Upon opening the food, we were disgusted. Cod bites were cold. Loaded nachos supreme with chicken was stuck together in a mass. Again... disgusting.... double cooked chicken wings... not double fried... no side with order... no ranch dressing to accompany the wings... and lastly... fish and chips... cold.... coating was barely on the fish.... french fries were mush...It seems to me that the food had been sitting for some time at the restaurant. I have eaten inside this restaurant before, and the food was exceptional. Not sure what happened on this night. I will never order take out food from this restaurant again. I know I am late in writing this review as I have taken time to seriously consider how to write this. On Tuesday, around 5:15 pm, I called the restaurant to speak with owner. Owner wasn't in. Spoke with Manager, he said he would talk with his staff. I asked for a call back, and was told that he couldn't do anything for me such a replacement order, since it happened on Friday. Didn't bother to take my phone number ... nothing. I love to support local bars and restaurants, however; I don't think I will be supporting this place again. I wasn't looking for replacement meal, just to let them know they failed drastically. Lousy customer service. You need to reconsider before order take out from this place. Ā Ā Ā Read moreThis establishment stole $94.48 from me. I ordered through Grub Hub and they handed Grub Hub driver the wrong order and it was delivered to my home. The General Manager placed all the blame on Grub Hub; however, TAILGATORS refused to accept any of the responsibility of handing the wrong order to the driver. The asked me to save the food and bring it in only to still tell me they haven't received payment from Grub Hub. I showed them the order I placed with their establishment on my Grub Hub app and provided the receipt from the app. I'm addition, I showed them the debit from my bank app. Bottom line, TAILGATORS accepted no responsibility for their negligence of handing off the wrong food. I will no longer do business with an establishment that has no integrity or honor. BAD BUSINESS PRACTICE! BEWARE!!!!!!
The statement made by ownership below is absolutely incorrect because this establishment chose not to accept any responsibility in handing Grub Hub the wrong order. This is exactly the issue I have with this establishment. I have ordered from Grub Hub before with this establishment, but this time they handed the driver the wrong order and refuse to accept no responsibility. There is no honor or credibility in that....
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI hate to do this but I am absolutely disgusted by the way my husband was treated when he went to get a pick up order⦠I made an online order and I asked my husband to pick up the order I will admit I did not tell my husband the time that the order would be ready my husband arrived 10 mins early he asked the bartender for the order and the bartender was very kind and professional she told him the order would be ready soon⦠he stood there 15 mins not greeted by any other staff or asked if he was helped and Iām sure it had to do with his skin color everyone else was helped and catered to upon entrance and the manager approached my husband bent over and put his face right in front of my husbandās face disrespectfully and told my husband that he needed to āpay attention to the ready timeā when my husband was not aware of the pickup time⦠how disrespectful can you be⦠he may not be Caucasian but he served this country why treat him this way? My kids love the wings here but I donāt know if we will be returning after the way we were treated. I suggest retraining for management and staff except the bartender that was helpful and...
