Ceviche Ria #1 — Restaurant in Texas

First of all I want to start with the customer service: AMAZING! I sent and email to ask if we could reserve a table for a group of 12 celebrating my husband's lunch on Saturday and they promptly took care of it! I feel terrible because I don't remember the name of the gentleman I spoke too, but he was the nicest guy ever! He asked if we preferred to order some different fish from what they usually have for ceviche (which was amazing because my husband loves mahi so he got to enjoy exactly what he wanted), made sure we'd have more non seafood options for the guests who didn't like fish or seafood, and even offered for us to order in advance if we liked. When we arrived, we had a nice table set up to the side for us, and the same gentleman I spoke to (which I'm assuming might be the owner?) came in just for us, to make sure everything went smoothly. He took our orders at the table, which I'm guessing it's not how it normally works as it looked people were ordering at the counter, which made it much easier with a big group (and kids) and made sure each one of us got exactly what we wanted, from drinks to food! The food was delicious! I had the octopus aguachile Caribbean style and it was so flavorful but also fresh and light. My husband had mahi and octopus aguachile macho style, and ate every single piece of it! We order 2 kids meals for our 4 and 2 year old, something we normally don't do, because anywhere we go kids meals are usually chicken nuggets, or cheese pizza etc. which I hate because I like my kids to eat real food too when we go out, so actually being able to get them rice with shrimp or chicken and avocado (we also added tomatoes) was great. They enjoyed it and had a treat with the extra side of chips and jello +apple juice. Everyone in our group seemed to have enjoyed what they ordered, from rice bowls to burritos and I'm sure we are all coming back soon. We also tried the pineapple agua fresca which was delicious...and huge! I got to take the cup with me after I was done eating, because I couldn't drink it all. We were also told that we could order to go-catering for parties and if we wanted we could bring in different types of fish and they would prepare it for us. Like I said the customer service is amazing! Oh and last but not least, my husband's meal was free since it was his birthday! That was a wonderful surprise, which made us leave even happier! We can't wait to go back! Thank you so much for the great food...

03.17.23 I've been looking at this place every time I drive by and finally went. They are delicious! I'm so excited to have this spot close by. The taste is major yum and they mix it up fresh. My only thing would be to get them to 1/2 the salt on my order...a bit too salty for me & my health.

The people that work there are patient and friendly as 1st timers need time to study the menu and figure out what we want. Lot of good stuff to choose from. Having the pictures on the menu help, but don't even do it justice when they come put that awesomeness in front of you. I'm totally trying to keep from running over there AGAIN today. I do that kind of crazy when I like something. The best part is that the portions are decent. Very fair for the price which is hard to find these days and why I don't eat out as much anymore. It has to be worth my hard earned money and FAIR! They are.

Definitely give them a try.

They keep odd hours....i.e.. open late and close earlier than most food establishments. So make sure you check the hrs b4 attempting a trip so you don't get disappointed. That happened the 1st time that we wanted...
