I placed an $80.00 order at 8:28 to be picked up at 8:41. Upon entering the lobby, the cashier was sweeping the lobby with both of her headphones in her ears. She made eye contact and continued to sweep. The music was blasting in the lobby so I assumed that was the reason no one had answered my phone calls. I waited at the register assuming that at some point the cashier would stop sweeping and attend me at the register. She did not. She continued to sweep the floor and ignore my presence. There was even louder music playing in the back of the store in the kitchen. No one could hear me when I repeatedly yelled hello. No one heard me when I repeatedly kept saying ding as if pretending to be a bell. Even the family that was dining in the lobby stopped talking as loudly as they were once they realized I was being ignored. The family informed the waitress that I needed assistance. She then rolled her eyes, walked right past me, still ignoring reached for the store phone and answered it. The person calling the store was ME! I even had it on speakerphone! I asked her, so you’re ignoring me for me? You’re not acknowledging my presence in person but now that you can hear the phone with your headphones out of your ears, you’re gonna finally answer my phone calls. By now, it’s 8:56 and I’ve been in the lobby being ignored for over 15 minutes. Since she had no answer to my questions, she yelled to the back of the kitchen for the cook to help me. A gentleman came from the kitchen to the register immediately. He attempted to help me but quickly confessed that he had no knowledge of an $80 order. He didn’t argue that it was there in the system but it never printed in the kitchen and that they did not have any of the ingredients to complete my order. He then told me that he had informed the owners multiple times that the system was not transmitting the online orders to them at the store. He apologized for the cashiers terrible customer service and told me that the only thing he could do for me was refund me my money. The one star that I am giving this review is simply because that cook was so kind to me. But because that cashier’s horrendous customer service I will never return to...
Read moreSo the first time my hubs and I came here not long after opening, it was fantastic!!! Then I met a friend here for lunch a few months ago. The queso was cold and still had LUMPS (bc it wasn't melted it was so cold) of cheese still in it and was so watery it didn't stick to the chip. The chicken quesadilla was decent, but not like it was when it was by the gas station at Londonway. (This was around 12:30-1pm that day). Today, put the cherry on top for me. I went just after 7pm and ordered CHAROO BEANS to go 16oz container for $6. It took SEVENTEEN MINUTES to get beans. Beans that get delivered during your greeting or with your drinks. Before they even take your order, They are ALREADY MADE! The reason she stated when I was like.... look, I'm just waiting for beans, dude... that they had to warm them up (FOR SEVENTEEN MINUTES THO?!), so they gave me the tiny bag of chips and salsa for my wait. Warm it up?!! Seriously. GOH!!! Im sure its on a steam table in a metal container ready just like the salsa and green sauce or lettuce tomatoes ext.. And the queso in a warmer. Its not made to order on those items, its pre-prepped/pre made. A small 16 ounce container isn't hard to scoop. I didn't have any drinks tonight, I just ordered to go from the bartender. But the drinks have been delicious in the past, so I'd call that a win! There was also a server tonight that busted her butt cleaning tables and running things to people. She's the ONLY winner there. Wish I got her name to give her praise. She's a hard worker. Like....7:08pm Saturday July 19th. Left at 7:28.
Edited to add a star for the quick response and caring of the business. We would get breakfast tacos most Sundays at the one on Londonway and sometimes chicken quesadilla along with em. It was so good. Trying to give it a chance and took a lot to get to the review point. Just sitting there watching the bartender and kitchen ppl standing back there while I just need beans was unacceptable. Thank you...
Read moreI will start by saying that their food is super delicious and my problem with this place does not lie with the food. The reason I give this establishment a one star rating is because of their customer service. Granted there are a few people there who seem to be nice, but three out of five times the service is horrible. Good Luck getting them to answer your phone call or return any messages you leave about a bad visit. My husband and I have asked several times to speak to a manager, and he/she is never at the store or never returns our calls. Employees will let people pile up at the counter without saying anything to let customers know that they will be with them soon. My husband and I have both been in the food industry for 10+ years, and their customer service is unacceptable. Today was the last straw and we will never return to this place. We even ordered delivery so we wouldn't have to deal with anyone there, but they didn't complete the order correctly and never picked up the phone no matter how many times we called. My husband eventually drove up there to get what we needed and speak to someone, but again he was left standing at the counter and not one employee said anything to him, even though several looked his way. We had not visited this place for months because of the horrible experience we had before this. During this experience we had called in a to-go pick-up order, or at least attempted to, and it was so horrible that we ended up eating elsewhere. The employee who was on the phone was horrible and very rude, my husband asked for his name so we could talk to a manager about him and his response was "No! Hold up! What is YOUR name!?". There are other things I could complain about or bring up, but these were just our past two visits. As good as the food is here, we will NEVER visit this location again. We will give our money and business to someone else who cares about their...
