I have been dining at this restaurant for some time now. I have not only taken many many of my friends and family to this restaurant but I also frequent this place at least once a week. Last night I went through drive through and paid with my debit card, only to wake up this morning and find that my card was not in my wallet. When I called the restaurant and spoke to a female manager who's name is Jessie, she told me that they in fact did have THREE debit cards there from last night's drive thru. Naturally I drove up to the restaurant in less than 15 minutes to retrieve my card. Inside I did meet the manager Jessie, gave her my ID, and she proceeded to give me my card back without any explanation or remorse. I then asked her if this happens a lot, which she said no. I then asked her if anything could be done for the inconvenience, since I still had to cancel my debit card and my bank is about 30 minutes away. She then tells me that I don't have to cancel my debit card since I have it back in my possession. I replied back to her that I didn't feel comfortable with that idea and I was going to still cancel my card. I then asked her for a second time what could be done for the inconvenience of me having to obtain another debit card and spend more time and gas having to go to my bank. Her response to me at that point was a "I'm sorry no". This is bad customer service to me at the highest level. Yes i do understand that I do have to take some responsibility for me not receiving my card back after the transaction, but IMO the majority of the blame goes on the establishment. Especially if you are telling me that you have not one, not two, but THREE debit cards from drive thru from last night alone. When I spoke to Jessie over the phone initially and she asked me what was the name of the bank on the debit card, she could not even pronounce the name of the bank which is CoAmerica. Which indicates to me she knew very little or nothing at all about my bank. This is because my bank is not common and has few branches. Not the restaurants fault that my bank has few branches but if you know that as a restaurant you dropped the ball, and that a person always spends money with you, wouldn't that make you want to take care of your patron? How hard would it have been to just say I'm sorry for the inconvenience and we'll give you a $5 credit on your next meal? I'm not trying to be that guy that gets something for nothing but I believe in taking care of the people that take care of you. For that reason I highly can't recommend this restaurant to anyone ever, and I have decided to never eat here again because of the mentioned facts above....
Read moreFor many years this had been one of my preferred Mexican Restaurants, until a week ago when I ordered several meals to go, to keep food ready-made for 3 days (for a single senior that was having surgery). Because I trusted this place, I didn’t even opened the bags and simply paced them totally closed in refrigerator. I was very upset when started using the food and realized that it was a ripoff. One of the plates included a “Parrillada Rodeo for 2) which for the few pieces of meat they provided would probably be enough for 2 small Kidds (or perhaps for 1 adult with very reduced appetite), and the rest of the big container was full of onions and Chiles). I also paid for 16 oz of charro beans, and only a very small cup of beans was provided (8 onces at the most).I paid for several “Caldos” that include rice; and it was so disappointing to see that they only provided 2 very little cups (small size of the ones they provide for salsa); but the bags had an abundance of tiny little hot salsas red and green, and pico de gallo with jalapeño that went straight to the trash because I specifically requested NO JALAPEÑOS OR ANY KIND OF SPICY SALSAS or hot choles or ingredients. For an order of 8 dishes including parrillada for 2, they provided 2 flower tortillas and 2 corn tortillas. I understand that in the name of “the tariffs”, most restaurants are taking advantage to keep increasing prices; but increasing prices and reducing actual food content is morally wrong. A lot of Mexican business, including this restaurant, are taking advantage of the current political and economic situation to overcharge the customers for the food, and still reducing quantity of the actual food we order. Greedy business owners and managers are...
Read moreI am sitting on the table NOT eating breakfast because of the experience at the 19411 Kuykendahl location. Partner attempted to surprise me with tacos for breakfast. She drove, ordered some tacos WITHOUT egg, paid leaving a 20% gratuity, and came home to find out that the large queso was not in the bag. She then drove again to the store and got the queso, while employee was very apologetic. She arrived home and we opened the tacos to find out there were eggs all all of them. One of us is allergic, and we called the store to find out a resolution. Manager was not at work so employee said nothing could be done at the moment, and that we had to drive for a 3rd time to receive the correct tacos. First time at this highly-rated establishment, no breakfast because now we have to go to work and no time to drive again, very subpar resolution due to manager missing and employee having no jurisdiction to refund (the amount paid only, NOT the time, gas, and frustration of a breakfast being ruined). Also, last time at this establishment. This was to give not one, but three chances (1. Coming in as a first time, 2. Coming back to pick up missing item, 3. Giving you an opportunity to fix mistake and establishment failing). Last time at this...
