GRRROWLER'S Tap Room & Beer Garden — Restaurant in The Colony

I really enjoyed watching other dogs run around from the top of the patio when we didn't bring our own boys. Really fun environment with the ability to bring food from any of the other restaurants over. The beer selection was pretty vast with the number of taps they had and options for bottled/canned brews. My only complaint is that the staff seemed to be incredibly disinterested in working Friday night. Greeting and serving my fiance and I seemed to be a chore as the bartender was too busy hanging out with her friend at the bar. There was also a very loud and seemingly drunk person who was not working that night, but appeared to work there as he kept going behind the bar and into the employee bathroom, that disrupted my visit. He was yelling obscenities and making comments that were not family friendly. Thankfully there weren't any kids around at that time, but staff were not doing...

Owner was yelling and cursing at customers and patrons of the establishment next door. Not sure what his problem was, but I would NEVER consider going there. We were heading inside and literally turned around and left.

Even the owner's response to this review is aggressive. It just seems that yelling and cursing outside in full view of potential customers is not good business. I'm sorry to hear that you were having issues with kids but I think the loud and aggressive discussion had two sides. It's your business to do as you please, but what we saw was threatening and...

Been going here for almost a year and just now reviewing??? Dang I'm slipping.

Anyhow, great freaking place. The people here are awesome, beer selection is great, dog friendly, they have water and treats for the dogs, dog park below you can enjoy beer and let the pup run. Owner thinks he swings like Rory. Great place, Zack has a good memory. But the regulars are awesome. Come out and try it. You can bring food from the other shops to here as long as you buy a beer. Great photo opportunity for your dog too....
