Subway — Restaurant in Thomaston

I would leave zero stars if I could the older man working in there that is extremely rude and has terrible customer service. I ordered a meal with a bottle of Pepsi and he gave me a fountain drink. I showed him my receipt and my order on the app showing that I selected the actual small 20oz bottle of Pepsi and not a fountain drink. He refused to give me the bottle that I selected and paid for and insisted that I take the fountain drink, arguing that the receipt says 20oz. I then showed him that the bottle of Pepsi is in fact 20oz and he still would not rectify his error. He was shouting at me and telling me to leave the restaurant. There are so many other subways in this city I will never go to this one again and I don’t advise anyone else to. I was picking up the food for my lunch for later in the day, which is why I specifically ordered the bottle of Pepsi and not the fountain because the fountain would be melted and watery and gross by the time I actually eat my lunch later in the afternoon. He started to accuse me of trying to get things for free, as if I didn’t pay for my meal. He was extremely disrespectful and honestly disgusting behavior. This location seems to have higher prices than other locations that I've been to. They tend to charge more for literally everything.

It was disappointing to see a $31 receipt for two foot long sandwiches one with extra meat... And no neither were one of their specialty sandwiches. $31 for two sandwiches is absolutely insane. I get this isn't 20 years ago where we had $5 foot longs, however the pricing is astronomical given what you get. They skimp out on the food you're supposed to get. I've actually worked at more than one Subway location, so I am aware of what a customer is supposed to get on each sandwich... Let's just say customers aren't getting what they pay for.

They tend to only have one person working at a time, that's when they actually have somebody working at all. I've gone there twice in the past week and a half during their hours of operation and have found no employee working and the location just overall closed.

They really need to step up their game, this is crazy that they are allowed to carry the Subway name and not hold up to the standards...

I have gone to the thomaston subway for many years and never had a problem everyone has been nice and cleanly but tonight my family went to get sandwiches and I stayed in the car while my family went in I had a perfect view of the girl making our sandwiches and she touched her hair with her gloves on while making our food atleast 5 times. She had her hair tucked into her shirt and it kept falling out and everytime it fell into her face she would brush it back. This is so unsanitary and I hope the manager notices this and corrects it. If I see this girl serving again I will go...
