Our recent visit to Tramonti Ristorante was an unforgettable experience. Despite being a reservation-only establishment and fully booked on a busy Friday night, they were incredibly accommodating and managed to fit us in. From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed into a warm, inviting atmosphere. The family-style seating and ambiance made the experience feel cozy and communal — perfect for a night out. One of the standout features of Tramonti was the exceptional staff. Every single person was not only polite but genuinely friendly. Even staff members who weren't directly serving us made sure to greet us with a smile and a kind word. This level of hospitality made us feel truly valued and at home. The chef’s personal touch was another highlight. We were treated to a complimentary appetizer, a gesture that immediately elevated the experience. To top it off, the chef even came out to personally add freshly grated cheese to our meals, making us feel like honored guests. Now, let's not forget the generously portioned food. Since the pictures I've attached don't do them enough justice, see our reviews below: Eggplant Parmigiana Review This eggplant parmigiana hit all the right notes. The serving size was huge, and the eggplant was thinly sliced — just the way I like it. The sauce was rich and flavorful, and there wasn’t too much cheese, letting the eggplant and sauce shine. The pasta side was cooked perfectly, making for a satisfying, classic Italian meal. A must-try for eggplant parm lovers! New York Strip Steak Review My wife’s New York strip was excellent — tender, juicy, and cooked perfectly. The garlic herb butter sauce added just the right richness. The mashed potatoes were creamy, and the veggies were crisp-tender and well-seasoned. The bone marrow was an unexpected bonus. A truly memorable meal for any steak lover! Pasta alla Vodka Review My daughter loved this pasta alla vodka. The restaurant served it with angel hair pasta, a rare and delightful find. The vodka sauce was creamy and flavorful, and the generous portion size provided great leftovers. If you enjoy angel hair and a good vodka sauce, this dish is a winner! Chicken Marsala Review My daughter’s boyfriend said this was one of the best chicken marsalas he’s ever had. The chicken was tender, the mushrooms perfectly cooked, and the marsala sauce exceeded expectations with its rich, savory-sweet flavor. The generous portion made it even better. For fans of chicken marsala, this is a must-try! Tramonti Ristorante isn’t just a place to eat; it’s a place to feel welcomed, appreciated, and part of a community. This is genuine hospitality at its finest, and we can’t wait to return. Highly recommended!

I do not normally write reviews but I am deciding to this time because of my poor experience at Tramonti. A couple months ago my parents went for dinner. There was a seafood special and meat special on the menu. My dad asked if he can have some of both in his meal. The waitress said that it would be a bit more money but my parents were fine with that. The bill came out to be $500 for that meal. $500!!! The waitress should have been upfront about the price because that’s an exorbitant amount of money. Not everyone can afford to pay that. Very disappointed by the lack of clear communication. You need to do better Tramonti. More recently, we dined to celebrate my grandmother’s birthday. I ordered the pumpkin ravioli special. When it came out it was drowning in sauce so you couldn’t even see the ravioli, probably because there were only about 8 small ones which they tried to hide with all the sauce. They try to make the portions seem bigger by serving them in large pans and smothering them with sauce. The meal was very good, don’t get me wrong. But for $70 I would expect more ravioli than just 8 small ones. Not with the money. Furthermore, we asked the staff if we can bring our own cake for dessert, since we are celebrating a birthday. They said yes, which was fine. However, what they DID NOT tell us was that there would be an extra $2.50 fee per person since we brought our own dessert. Again with the lack of communication. Why didn’t they tell us this upfront? Awful service. They also did nothing to rectify the situation. Again, very disappointing. We will not be dining here again. Do better Tramonti!!! Guests deserve an experience with clear communication, good customer service, and dishes that aren’t drowning in sauce to cover up the lack of actual food.

I normally do not write reviews, but I always read them so I thought I would share my experience at Tramonti. My family and I recently dined here to celebrate my daughter’s 21st birthday. While the evening began on a positive note, the experience unfortunately took a disappointing turn. The restaurant was understandably busy for a Friday night, but after waiting over an hour for our entrées, I was surprised by both the quality of the food and the lack of communication from the staff. I ordered the halibut special, and my daughter did as well. The dish was not enjoyable. The halibut had an overpowering fishy taste, the octopus was completely bland, the prawns had an off flavor, and the calamari was dry and tough. I only managed a few bites. No one came by to ask how the food was after it was served. What shocked me the most was when the bill arrived. I was not informed of the price of the special when ordering, and I was stunned to learn that each halibut entrée was $150. I believe that is something your staff should disclose clearly at the time of ordering, especially when the price is that unusually high. When I later brought this concern to our server, her only response was, “You should have told me sooner.” That comment, along with the lack of follow-up throughout the meal, left me feeling dismissed and frustrated. If you’re into showboating, oversized portions, and style over substance, then Tramonti might be your kind of place. But if you care about quality food, clear communication, and good service, I’d strongly suggest you look elsewhere.

Visited Tramonti's today for a birthday lunch. The food was good but the service was horrible. I ordered the Tramonti Chicken but the portions are so huge so I only ate one piece of my chicken (there were 3 pieces). The server offered to wrap it up to go but somehow it got thrown away. No big deal. Things happen. They offered to make me a new order which I appreciated. We waited 20+ min and a different waitress came over and told me she had just checked with the kitchen and it would be ready soon. Mind you we had already paid 20 min before and were just waiting on this to go. I had my 6 yo daughter with me and we had been at the restaurant for almost 3 hours at this point and she was getting restless. I asked to speak to the owner and explained the situation to her politely. She told me she would check on it and then came back and said the kitchen didn't know what I was talking about and they weren't making me anything. Another server then came over at that point with an aluminum tray and the owner told me these were my leftovers and they hadn't been thrown away. I opened the container and it was filled with mussels. I showed the owner that this wasn't my order and she said, What do you want? Your money back? I said, Yes. I had only eaten one piece of chicken and I didn't understand why we had been waiting for 30 min for them to remake my food only to be told they weren't remaking it. The owner told me that I should be happy she was giving me back the full price of my meal since I ate some of it and she should only give me half. I told her that that was unacceptable and that the right thing to do would be to comp my meal at the very least. I told her I had a 6 yo who was getting very antsy. You would think she would have offered a dessert for her or something while we waited. She told me I wanted the whole check comped and she wouldn't do that. I never asked for the whole check to be comped. She was very rude and nasty. The other servers never came over to explain the situation to her or apologize even thought they were the ones who told me that my food was getting remade. When you spend $250 for 4 adults to have lunch you expect better customer service. The owner should be ashamed of herself for taking people's money and then treating those customers with such little respect. Had high hopes for this place but will never go back now. I've had better meals and much better service at Mama Luke's in Bristol. I hope the owner reads this and is embarrassed by her actions but from the other comments it seems like this is...

WOW if I could give this place 100 stars I would , from time you walk in and are greeted with the most hospitable manager Mary Beth to all the staff , especially the owner who made his way to greet us, a humble and kind man , you can tell he truly cares about all his patrons. We were newbies and we were told the potions are HUGE and the chef will send out apps complimentary !! What ?? NOOOO lol These days you're lucky if the place gives you a dessert haha Not that we're looking for that but it Definitely makes you feel appreciated . We had a table of 6 my nephews and my sister and bro in law , so they have been at Tramontis before and it was the old place where they said was smaller and they had to wait almost 3 months for a reservation ...good thing they moved to this location which is a nice space formerly Ciao We loved the whole vibe , every staff member working together tables with bottles of cold water so you don't have to ask , bread waiting for you with olive oil. The cocktails were made perfectly they even had stuffed olives for my dirty . The food came out not too fast and we weren't rushed , Mary Beth went out of her way and asked us if there was a special occasion that we were celebrating or just a get together , to me that's EXCEPTIONAL hospitality ... Talk about CARING a manager who truly takes care of her patrons .... And it was just a get together but what an experience to an ordinary dinner , they gave oysters and mussels and a bruschetta with meats and at the end limoncello and no one drank it but me cause my nephews are under age and my sister and hubby don't drink but I enjoyed it and then saw friends I knew and passed it to them . Now my only tip is on the Specials just be aware the prices are higher then expected but considering All they give you gotta give back too ... Thank you Tramonti team and Best wishes in your new pizzeria in Wolcott Can't wait to go and return to your establishment again XXOO What we had : fired calamari , fried smelts special with shrimp octopus and calamari Entrees : chic parm , chic tramaonti , vodka rigatoni with chic , vodka rigatoni with sausage , clams sauce with linguine and one huge piece of tiramisu and i just wanted to pick at all the dishes LOL and my Favs : the chic tramonti and the clams sauce And the fried baby octopus and the bruschetta with the meats And I do want to address Courtney I hope I spelled it right who was our main waitress she was Excellent ,...
