Zaxbys Chicken Fingers & Buffalo Wings — Restaurant in Thomaston

The food was not very great, the person who took my order said that the chicken finger sandwich has cheese on it because I asked if it had cheese. She also told me that it has lettuce tomatoes and the Zaxby sauce and I said okay that's fine thinking that it was the sandwich that came with the toast bread but this sandwich came with some kind of potato looking bun and it was not good at all, the chicken was so crispy that it was literally hard. I ended up just tearing the sandwich apart and eating what I could. I probably should have said something but I don't understand for the life of me why restaurant and people just can't get it right the first time. The sandwich was not what I wanted. I even pointed to the Kickin Chicken and said I want that sandwich but it's the one with cheese and not the hot sauce. That's not what I got. At least two managers or sitting in the corner and I know they could see my face while I was eating a rock-hard sandwich good night said nothing, offered nothing. Probably won't go back. My order was called in a day in advance (problem with website processing order), and the employee taking order asked for my phone number. When I showed up, the order wasn't completed because they ran out of the wing sauce I requested and they said they couldn't call me because they couldn't find my number (true, saw the sheet--need to utilize spreadsheet for call-in orders, not random notes on blank paper).

Both managers there handled the situation really well and made me happy, despite making me late for my event and running out of the product I needed. I really appreciated them working quickly to fill my order and make sure I was happy. If I hadn't been a Zaxby's fanatic for all these years, I'd have been irritated enough not to return to this location. Fresh and fast service BUT...No exaggeration, every single time I order food with Zax Sauce, THE SAUCE HAS A WHOLE OR SLIT IN THE TOP. My last 3 visits Ive had the same experience and have expressed my concerns to management just to be told that," it comes off the truck that way." Now, again, I cant enjoy my chicken fingers because my sauce could be contaminated. I work at yhe local hospital and barley have time to eat let alone time to return to Zaxbys. Management nor the employees seem to care about this issue enough to correct it. We are in a GLOBAL PANDEMIC, economic crisis and Popeyes is being bulit less than a mile away from this location. The new Chick-fil-A is already destroying KFC. If this is the type of negative consistency this company wants to keep when there is a simple fix, I will be taking my business...
