Oh my gosh!!! Best donuts ever!!!! I have been so disappointed that we don’t have a KK here in Thomasville. And on top of that DD are just never up to par.!! But Mrs Nanee’s donuts are freaking chef’s kiss!!! I went in around 1:30 and since they were closing at two I was just expecting whatever leftover donuts she had from the day and even told My Husband we’ll probably just get what is left and I won’t have many choices and they probably won’t be fresh. MAN WAS I WRONG! let me tell you those donuts were so fresh, the perfect amount of icing, still soft and fluffy on the inside, and the outsides were a perfect golden color. seriously, biting into one of her donuts was…..(speechless).. my husband and our children were all quiet and all you could hear was mmm…mmmm…mmm…. you have to go try them for yourself you will not be disappointed I promise!!!! we had six original glazed donuts, one apple fritter, two Bavarian cream filled, one blueberry filled, one strawberry filled, one lemon filled, and two cream cheese filled. Nanee's DH, The doughnut, in this case an Apple Fritter, was very good! The problem was with the owner taking advantage of the moment. It was the end of the day, and I wanted an apple fritter, and I asked the clerk how much for an apple fritter, and the owner talked over the clerk and said his price, the clerks eyes just about fell out of her head. I still said ok because I felt obligated to the purchase. A few days later I thought we'll get some regular donuts since the apple fritter was so much money, but my friend went in to get them and said that the apple fritters were half as much as I had said. Nanee's Donut Hole are the best doughnuts I have ever put in my mouth! As I was walking up to the store this morning at 7:30, the smell of fresh doughnuts hung in the air. I asked for a couple of doughnuts that weren't in the case and no problem. The kind lady walked right to the back and had them iced right up to my request. Note that this place is no secret and if you try and stop by after 10 am on a Saturday, you can forget about it because they will be cleaned out!
