69 Prime was absolutely amazing!!! I love steak and my husband usually takes me to Theo’s in Indiana and Mastro’s downtown Chicago. Initially we were going to Theo’s in Indiana, but we remembered that there was a new steak/Italian restaurant that recently opened right in our neighborhood and we decided to give it a try. I was nervous at first because it’s really a bummer when you’re craving a particular food and you try somewhere new and it’s nowhere as good. I must say we were very pleasantly surprised.
Upon entering, we were greeted with a warm and inviting ambiance, where the blend of rustic charm and modern elegance created an atmosphere perfect for a memorable evening. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the General Manager Rich takes immense pride in ensuring every guest has a stellar experience. His attention to detail, genuine warmth, and commitment to excellence truly set the tone for a remarkable evening. We had one challenge where I received the wrong steak, however Rich went above and beyond to not only make sure I received the correct steak, but also offered for me to keep the current steak to take home at no additional charge. (Big smile) Rich‘s exceptional leadership and passion for hospitality were evident in every aspect of our dining experience.
Our server Jay was nothing short of phenomenal. Jay's friendly demeanor and impeccable service made our dining experience truly special. From expertly guiding us through the menu to offering insightful recommendations, Jay's knowledge and enthusiasm were evident at every turn. His attentiveness and prompt service ensured that our evening progressed smoothly. He did an excellent job with his ability to anticipate our needs and his warm and personable approach made us feel valued and well taken care of, transforming our meal into an extraordinary experience.
Now, let's talk about the star of the show—the Prime Bone In Ribeye Steak. Cooked to absolute perfection, my ribeye was a symphony of flavors, with a beautifully charred exterior and a tender, juicy interior. The seasoning was spot on, enhancing the natural richness of the meat without overpowering it. Each bite was a delight, and I found myself savoring every morsel. My husband ordered the Maple Glazed Salmon and it was just as much a delight to his taste buds.
If you're seeking the epitome of steak perfection, look no further than 69 Prime in Homewood. Our dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. We can't wait to return and savor more of their mouthwatering creations. We left the restaurant feeling incredibly grateful for their outstanding service and can't wait to return for another evening of exceptional...
Read moreWe were there 3 days after opening. There is work to be done for sure, inexperienced young bartenders did NOT make a good 1st impression they could not make a manhattan, what??? A man perhaps a mgr came behind to assist after 15 mins of struggle. I am 47 yrs in fine dining experience so Im willing to give it one more try, to see if they iron out details in service. The food was good not great, just good. The ambience, music, and lighting are well done. We are frequent customers at the tinley pk location and the food and service are most always on point they have seasoned old school bartenders and experienced waitstaff. In my years of serving, bartending, and managing in restaurant fine dining is an ART, unfortunately a dying one it seems as the next generation seems to have missed the "eye for detail" class. If customers start with great cocktails and a knowledgable staff and the food is good, people are willing to look past minor flaws. Work out the kinks in waitstaff please! We need a good steakhouse in the area as homewood and the surrounding towns are overun with mediocre fried unhealthy pub...
Read morePrime 69 is the place to be! Our family celebrated Mother’s Day with one of the best meals we’ve ever had. Rich greeted us when we arrived and was very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. Brooke was a great server, and make sure everything was just right. Our table enjoyed several perfectly prepared steaks (the Wagyu skirt steak and Wagyu ribeye), the bourbon bacon, the Caesar salad, the mashed potatoes, the Brussels sprouts, the prime greens, truffle fries, chicken parmigiana, the cheese cake, and the Italian butter cake. The steaks were comparable to, if not better than RPM. They were cooked to perfection and were so flavorful and tender. The sides, appetizers, and salad were great, but the butter cake stole the show! I’m so glad it was suggested because we wouldn’t have tried it otherwise. Not only was the food and service fantastic, but the space was truly something. Eating next to the old vault was an experience, and the general ambiance was very sophisticated and classy. I’m so glad we gave this place a chance, and I cannot...
