First time here and had a few hours to kill. I walked a mile from my vehicle hoping to be able to sit inside and have breakfast at a cute cafe. I passed a Starbucks because I enjoy the experience of small cafes. Did not know they were not seating people inside due to pandemic. It is now fall of 2021 and all other small places are open for seating so this surprised me. Of course I had already ordered my food so I asked if I could at least sit by a stool near window and was told no.
Let me point out that coffee and food was delicious but very disappointed in the standoffish treatment I got. I walked in feeling happy and chatty but immediately felt a bad vibe from the person taking my order. Couldn’t wait to get my food and walk back to my vehicle. What is just as important as food and ambiance is making patrons feel welcome. I waited about 15-20 minutes for my food with only 2 other walk ins. I waited in silence and felt...

I found it interesting that two white women came in right behind me neither of which wore mask and she didn’t say anything to them. I have never been there before so I wanted to know what the specials/items were is she just putting me to the menu. I worked in hospitality for over five years and I can tell you she did not make me feel comfortable or welcomed in that space. They seem to be very open to LGBT but I wonder how they actually feel about their black customers. Also the fact they don’t allow indoor seating… STILL… is ridiculous. And the chairs outside are horrible. Sadly the food was actually pretty good but the experience was so bad I will...
