My new go to spot for the area. I've been here multiple times throughout the past year and I have really enjoyed every dish I've tried. As someone with a gluten intolerance, the amount of options for me is unexpected and much appreciated. This week I had the braised short ribs bourguignon and my friend had the steak frites. Both were amazing. I've also tried the roasted 1/2 chicken, beef au poivre, and a pork dish in the past. Everything has been so tasty. I do the happy food dance every time I eat here. Although I've moved to the city, I still find a reason to come here every few months. The ambiance is really great too. They have a private dining room in the old bank vault which is a really fun idea. The outdoor patio area is also really nice in the warmer months. We went one day when there was a Farmer's market right next to the patio and the special sangria they were selling on the patio was excellent. As long as the quality and service stays as top notch as it is today, I'll be a customer for years to come.

This restaurant is uniquely and beautifully decorated within an old Bank building that incorporates a small boutique hotel. One of the dining areas is actually in the vault of the old Bank. It's an appropriate place for both casual and fine dining with a bar and a French inspired menu. I am unable to comment on the entire menu because my meal consisted of a seasonal special of steamed muscles, all you could eat, with five different types of sauces. Our party of four tried all of the different preparations and each one was uniquely delicious. I'm giving this a four instead of a five-star rating because as with many other dining experiences post covid, the service was a bit slow because I believe they were short-staffed. Otherwise give this place a try.

We had the pleasure of experiencing exceptional French American cuisine in a picturesque location just outside the city. Our young, yet highly skilled waitress made our dining experience even more enjoyable. From the perfectly crafted cocktails and drinks to the warm and fresh bread, every detail was carefully considered. The elevated quality of the food was truly impressive. To top it off, the owner himself joined us at his restaurant and took the time to introduce himself, demonstrating his strong dedication to his business. We are grateful to all those who made our experience truly unforgettable.

Disappointing. Upon arrival Saturday night, street parking right in front, we noticed our reservations were unnecessary; the rumpled Tee-shirt wearing pretty hostess seated us promptly. She may have just left her day job at Portillo's, so no sin there. Service was 4 star friendly, efficient and attentive. The giant Martini olives were firm and tasty, but, "HORRORS", the drinks were watered down; a cardinal sin worth a point or two in any restaurant or bar on planet earth.

The angel egg appetizers were, well, how can you screw up deviled eggs? But in retrospect it seems the bacon was leftover, and other than the smoked salmon, the toppings were barely discernible.

The pork belly and quail entree seemed a queer combination, with the common duo being pork belly and quail eggs. The quail was overdone although it's very difficult to cook perfectly. The pork belly was the fattiest of half dozen experiences I've had in ordering it. Oozing oil. The waitress flinched just a bit when I ordered it, but she spun around and flew away to the kitchen before I could easily change my mind. I was eating little stacks of Tums off the nightstand until 3am., while my stomach tried to digest the grease.

When advised by the waitress that the Creme Brulee is merely sugar burned on top of pudding with a hardware store torch, we passed. Francophones know that Creme Brulee means "Burned Cream", and the flavor comes from burned cream within, not a burned sugar crust. American restaurants need to get with it.

Their signature gold bar cake was awesome!

Overall, it's an overpriced TV sports bar relying solely on a cheesy Eiffel Tower to...

This used to be a great place, but not anymore. Service was mediocre at best. The server asked if we were celebrating anything and we told him one of our guests was having a birthday. Nothing was done--no offer of dessert, no "Happy Birthday" greeting, nothing.

The food has gone down considerably. We ordered a charcuterie plate and asked the server to tell us what the items were when it arrived. He said he didn't know what they were and made no effort to find out. There were three different pickled vegetables, a blob of mustard just slopped on the plate, and a couple of very acidic preserved meats. The platter was just one note--sour! The menu said there would be housemate jam with it but instead there was a small amount of blueberries that had either been previously frozen or came out of a can as the skins were tough and they were sitting in liquid.

I ordered the surf and turf special that the server said was made with "the real good crab meat". Again, he couldn't tell me what kind it was, only that "it's not the imitation stuff." I would certainly not expect imitation anything for those prices. The crab apparently came out of a can as it was in very tiny flakes and had a fishy taste. Overall, it was a very expensive dinner for what we got. A waste of time and a waste of money.

La Voute managed to ruin what we had hoped would be a happy...

Today's visit was just Horrible! Service was extremely slow as our party of four (4) had another engagement after attempting to have brunch first. We reminded our server who was also bartending that we'd placed our order 1;hour &:20 Minutes ago. The waiter came over and said that he was sorry about our order however there was a wedding party that was engaging across from us. I told him that "We" had absolutely nothing to do with that party. The floor manager came to speak with myself & my daughter. Again we told him that the RSVP that we had made had No impact on the fact (as we were told) there was only 2 cooks in the building. As the food arrived, we had asked that it be fixed yo to carry out. As my daughter looked into her box to inspect her food, she found that the Brioche French Toast was completely burned and the inside of the French toast was completely egg batter soaked! Wasn't worth serving to anyone even if it was "Free". The Manager did manage to remove the tow adult drinks from the bar off the tab. If it really mattered, I felt as though the Management should have "removed" the Entire Bill. Now that's what Management is all about. Especially since we've eaten there many...
