Clementine Cafe — Restaurant in Thornton Township

We decided to try this new place given the former Mexican restaurant went defunct several years ago….

Overall, extremely poor service.

Long wait times with only one server on duty, told no chips/salsa available during lunch and only after 3 PM, watered down fountain pop, etc.

We communicated with the waitress concerning the pop issue and asked that they make it right, she took my drink away and offered a canned Coke.

When bill came, we were charged for both drinks! That is NOT making it right.

Was told I drank too much of the fountain drink for any credit (~25% drunk.)

Yet ZERO accountability for their bringing a watered down fountain pop and a complete failure to correct the deficiency.

The food is tasty and good, but the poor service destroys the dining experience.

Never again folks…a quick way of not only loosing new customers, but earning a negative online review.
