Taqueria Queretaro — Restaurant in Thornton Township

I usually don't leave any type of reviews unless I am personally moved by the establishments. But this little restaurant just personifies the current aged and melancholy sense of the American Dream. People work very hard in order to flourish here in the states. And often times are given the short end of the stick all while still pushing on and doing their very best with what they have. Long story short. We ordered online through a third party and the restaurant had no capability of retrieving the order because they no longer did business with them. They struggled to get anyone in contact who could help so they decided to do the honorable thing and took it upon themselves to cater to our personnel at my workplace to make sure we got what we had paid for even if that meant it came with a potential loss. The employees are kind, thoughtful, and evidently very hard working. Always bustling through, doing whatever they could to help the kitchen. The kitchen staff worked as the heart of this place to fly out orders as soon as possible. You can TELL these hardworking people have a passion in what they do. That it matters to them. I was at SSC for my son's graduation ceremony and was hungry, I tried to go to a birriera place down the block but they were closed. So I found this place and it exceeded my expectations. I was hoping for just some decent tacos but they were better than decent. Only problem now is, I live in Indiana, 30 minutes from here...so I'm gonna have to take a lil drive for these tacos again 😆! This place is the most disgusting place to eat at. The food is very nasty! The service is terrible. I called and asked for a refund and I also had the food and they refused to take the food back or even make two new ones in exchange. How nasty this food is you really wouldn’t want two new ones! The steak tasted old and dry and I will never come to their establishment! I promise you, you will not be satisfied with the food or the service. Save your money and eat somewhere else!
