Number 1 Chop Suey — Restaurant in Thornton Township

This was not my first time ordering but it is my last time ordering. I placed my order with specific instructions and was told 15 minutes. I timed my order so that I would be "on time". My order was basic, shrimp fried rice extra spicy with extra scallion on top and a small order of garlic shrimp spicy as well. The rice was not fresh nor was it spicy and the 2.00 I paid extra for scallion was not there. The garlic shrimp wasn't made improperly. There were burnt vegetables (which were unrecognizable), overcooked peapods and 2 shrimp. The food was horrible. As I was eating the food I began to feel sick. I ordered shrimp lo mein lunch special without the soup and soda. Advertised price is $8.75. I was charged $9.45 (pre tax) for shrimp lo mean, egg roll and egg drop soup. Ofc, I wasn't given the soup because I didn't order it. It didn't stop them from charging me for it. I brought it up to the cashier. She tried to say it was tax. Smh. Check your receipts. Today, it's just a few cents. I could only imagine how much extra they tack on for larger orders. Food was hot but a little bland. Eggroll was burnt. Here we with another Asian food store...not up to quality control.
