Went in after work to order food I asked for them to fry it hard and crispy when I get home and examined my half white chicken it was half done the batter on the chicken was light and color and which I've never seen before normally the chicken is brown in color anyways I called the number and one of the workers informed me that the manager will refund my money upon return. When I made it to Harold's Chicken the manager came to the door light skin lady and said me give me one moment while taking my food to the back and came back to show me this food is done... I informed her that I was not satisfied with my food the skin with still fat and look disgusting the fries was as if it was soaked in Grease and to make a long story short she went back and forth on her refund policy and why she was not going to return my money she showed me the food and said see it's not pink inside this food is already done with a very bad attitude I then asked her would you take this home and eat this mam and she replied lying yes I would I've been a manager here for 7 years and I have my sanitary license, mam that doesn't have anything to do with me as a customer disliking my food. She then told me with an angry voice well you need to come back in the morning so we can discuss further about giving you a refund and proceeded by slamming the door in my face I've then called because I was still in the parking lot asking for this manager. The young lady with the glasses and the natural blonde curly hair answer the phone and after asking for her she put me on mute for a very long time coming back on the phone stating she is gone then when I asked her her managers name she gives the phone to a male co-worker and he claims that her name is Tamika and that he's only been working there for one month and he has nothing to do with what is going on between her and I I will never step foot in that particular Harold's Chicken ever again in life. Read moreThe young girl on the register 3/19/19 HORRIBLE!! She needs to stay in the back . I ordered my food at 1:57pm just in time for the lunch special. Waited for my food only to get yelled at for her not calling my order . She kept going back and forth an eventually i was the bigger person an told her i wanted to speak with the manager...mind you she made a scene in front of customers. I kept cool about the situation an told her i just wanted my money back because at 2:30pm food should have been long over due. The manager eventually came to the front and looked as confused as I did as the young girl tried to talk over him and i dismissed her an told him regardless i wanted my money back . He made her give me my money back and i proceeded to tell Him she has such a horrible attitude. If you give me an attitude because your overwhelmed about your job is that my fault ? I didn’t disrespect her or anything because it’s no point return my funds so that i can find food else where. This is the second time i have had an issue with this place. Read moreOrdered delivery: None of my food came with mild sauce although I requested mild sauce on everything. Who is eating Harold's without sauce? When I called to ask if they could deliver the mild sauce I was told they would not but I could pick some up. If I could pick up mild sauce I would just pick up my food. The young lady who answered the phone was not helpful and gave very poor customer service. She didn't say sorry for the mistake or we give you something extra when you come in. She was either silent or rude on the phone. She refused to give her name and told me it just sauce so its not a big deal. And correct its not a BIG deal but it is an inconvenience that proper customer service could smooth over with just being polite. When I asked to speak to someone else she told me no and there was no one else to speak to.
I had to eat my food without the sauce and unfortunately the perch tasted a little funky like it was close to expiring. So double whammy. Ate 1 piece and threw the rest out.
I like Harold's but with this one delivery is difficult and when the order isn't correct they won't fix the problem via delivery and the customer service is poor as employees are rude and won't even identify themselves by name.
