Seafood Island Fish Market — Restaurant in Thornton Township

Just have to say the food here is absolutely amazing they were quite busy I have to admit and I did stand in line for like 5 minutes before I got to place my order but the cashier made up for it by her politeness and her smile and she took my order accurately and correctly and showed no sign of agitation with how busy it was. She didn't even get agitated when I couldn't remember my PIN number and I had to enter it three times before I got it right she was chill the whole time. I believe she said her name was Sally or Shelly it was hard to hear because of the people in the lobby. I was told my food would be ready in 20 minutes I went inside to grab my food and it was ready in the said amount of time. I took my food home to eat and it was amazing!!!!! I ordered myself the steak and shrimp and ordered my daughter crab and shrimp meal. Everything was on point!!!! To think there was only two people working and the food, the service, the speed, even the store was very clean; everything was wonderful!!! The cashier and cook did an extremely amazing job still surprised it was just two of them for how busy it was they need raises pronto!!! Definitely my go-to spot from here on out. Everything was even moderately priced not overly priced!!!! Definitely a place...

Be careful because one of the older male Cooks there does not wash his vegetables especially the broccoli before steaming. he does not care about the quality of food that he gives out he just gives it out. there's no reason why baked or steamed fish should be completely dry and rubbery and old tasting. the broccoli should not be clumped with dirt from the ground that it was pulled from . but yet that's the type of food that he's giving out unclean unrinsed thoroughly broccoli . dried up corn. the quality is just not there anymore I bit into a large piece of broccoli the flower part and it was full of dirt. I had just returned the Whiting because it was dried out and rubbery he did replace it with Tilapia. But the steamed veggies was full of dirt. I have decided I will just cook my own food at home I can make it better there's no reason why I should pay all of that money for dried dirty old food. I had worked all day and just wanted to relax without cooking and eating something that I like that did not happen you really can't trust what you get these days. They want to charge a whole lot of money and give you some bull crap. I gave it a two-star because there is a cook there a younger guy who does very well and his food comes out...

First of all u didn’t see me check any thing because I wasn’t the one who picked up my order however if I wasn’t at work I would’ve bought that horrible stuff back you guys done me like that before I was hoping it would’ve been better this time I even told you on the phone to PLEASE BE SURE I HAVE FRESH LOBSTER AN FOOD AN U ASSURED ME THAT I WOULD u guys need to be reported as I looked at other reviews they too had this problem I took pictures an as you can See the lobster is old an the smell was horrible when I opened the bag who ever you are u shouldn’t be the consultant to speak they clearly have u trained to protect their wrong doing it will be a time someone will get food poisoning from that restaurant but it won’t be me do something about before...
