Read moreThe food was actually good (except the fries, we could have done without them), BUT I don’t feel like I got my money’s worth. I don’t know if it was because I went on Memorial Day, maybe they were running out of food or something. But we definitely didn’t feel like the amount of food we got matched the price we paid. I’ve gotten more food from other BBQ joints for the same price or less. I’m not sure if this was just a bad experience because it was a holiday, or if this is how they always are.
Also, they didn’t have three things on the menu that I tried to order. Not sure if their menu needs to be updated, or if they were just out of those items that day. But if I had known that they were out of those things prior to coming, I would have saved the trip. And they were not taking call in orders. I don’t understand the logic behind this. I would think in a pandemic you would allow call in orders so people can get in and out and minimize contact with others. I’m not gonna drive 20 minutes here, go in and order, and then have to wait 20+ minutes for my food......when I could call ahead somewhere else and have my food be ready by the time...
Read moreI went in with just two people ahead of me, so I'm thinking, this won't be long. Being disabled, I can't stand for long periods of time. My wait turned out to be about 30 minutes with only 3 people in the restaurant. which wasn't so bad because all of us waiting for our orders got to hear the conversation that one of the cashiers were having with her boyfriend. Loud enough that you could easily here through the plexiglass. All the young ladies back there taking orders had their ear buds in either on the phone or bopping to the beats asking me, "Girl, don't you know that song. I get home, looking forward to the trip/Link combo and to my surprise the hot Link was dry and kinda hard so I just focused on eating the rib tips. The price I thought was reasonable but you guys have to work on your hot links because that takes away from the whole combo meal. While the service was good, it could have been better. I'm thinking, maybe I should have called in my order, but one lady said, It won't make no difference because I called and I still been here for...
