Tacomiendo Food Truck — Restaurant in Thornton

Food was great. I had only one big complaint, took my kids, nieces and nephews to eat there. The crew was super friendly except for the cashier. She seemed stressed and angry to serve us. She repeated many times that we should have ordered online. We had 6 orders of tacos and 3 tortas. We waited a good while patiently because we knew we had a large order, the entire time she kept telling us to order online next time in the most rude way. Her attitude continued for the entire time we were there. I smiled and said thank you. When we got home with our order we were missing 2 orders of our food. I decided not to go back even if I lived only a few blocks away due to her attitude. In our bag was our receipt with a note saying next time pre order online in bold letters and exclamation marks, needless to say I never went back. Food is awesome her attitude was not. Wow! Traditional Mexican Tacos and other favorites done very well. We ordered Quesadilla de asada: Large flour tortilla filled with mozzarella, perfectly cooked asada and cooked till cheese melted.The tortilla stayed soft and the asada was juicy. Cheese to meat ratio, 10/10 Torta de Pastor: A normal sized bolillo, toasted with mayo, tomato, onion, avocado and of course al pastor. I appreciate that this was NOT a ridiculously large bolillo with little substance. It was the complete opposite. Tacos: buche, al pastor. Try the buche, the chef did a wonderful preparing it. Tacos come topped with onion and cilantro and a side of lime. All of the orders came with jalapeno toreado, sauteed onions and 2 salsas. I wanted to try a different taco truck from the ones I usually go to. Tacomiendo has a great selection of tacos, tortas, quesadillas, and their party fries. Their meats were decent have some of the more diverse options. I will say the fried tripe was really good, the buche was okay, the asada was good and the pastor was okay. Portion sized were good especially the party fries, my son was able to make 2 meals out of it. Really the only real con was the gas generator smelled really strongly.
