3 star atmosphere with 5 star patrons.
Azar's is a dive in the best of ways. This is a local Blue Collar watering hole. The wait staff is friendly, they remember your name and your drink preferences. There's no pretentiousness to be had here. Inside is a mostly dark pallet. A typical sports bar without all of the corporate style of chain sports bars.
This place is billed as a steakhouse. Which has been my least favorite thing in the menu. I had a fillet, which wasn'tvery flavorful. I tried some other cut as well (I don't remember). Same result not too tasty. Not terrible, just not great.
What they do excel at is the bar food. Nachos, sliders and the build your own burger. I've never had a bad burger here.

The bands are pretty good, the drinks are poured strong. However, if you are hungry and smart you will eat elsewhere and NOT order food here! This place can't even make a simple quesadilla taste good! The grouping of people that go here is a true mix of 21 to 70 yr olds, and classy to serious trashy!
I have been drug here twice in a little over a year by friends, giving 3 of 5 stars is generous. A true Dive Bar aficionado would probably give Azars a much...
