Casa Mexicana Imports — Local services in Thousand Oaks

Don’t trust these people. Bought a table base and a chandelier from this place last November. My house had burned down and they offered to store the items for a while. I was happy to do so in the meantime there was confusion about which chandelier we had purchased. As we had two young grandchildren in the car my wife and I could only go in one at a time I thought I had paid for the correct item my wife informed me that I did not. So I went back in and I wrote a second check for the difference. They gave me a discount for purchasing the two items together. When I went to pick them up some nine months later they wanted to give me the wrong chandelier not the chandelier I purchased. Saying that there’s no way they would have given me the items that I had photographs of for the price that I had paid, and If I wanted the correct chandelier I had to pay another $500 cash to get it. Their record keeping system is unbelievably inadequate they didn’t even list the proper items on my receipt and never put a price by any of the items. I was so disappointed. Their lack of consideration and inability to live up to what they promised was unbelievable. I would never go back there for any reason. If you buy something from them. I would make sure that I took a picture of it with the owner holding the receipt and pointing to the item so that you could trust what they were going to give you what you purchased for the price...
