I got a traditional pepperoni pizza, a manchurian pizza twist, and curry masala breadsticks. The traditional was okay, absolutely nothing special about it. The crust is good, but the sauce is mediocre. My main complaint is with the twists. I enjoy Indian food and was hopeful for this fusion pizza. However, the flavor combinations were complete misses. I have never been less excited to eat a second piece of pizza in my life. The bread sticks were very bland and what little flavor there was seemed to conflict with each other. The ginger on the manchurian pizza tasted like what I imagine Irish spring soap would taste like based on its smell. The pickled jalapeños were terrible, I think they would be better off using fresh jalapeños. Overall, they need to decrease the amount of ginger and increase the use of fresh ingredients. They also need to improve the spices in their sauces. I usually like to give places a second opportunity, but for someone who absolutely loves pizza, it's hard to go back to the one pizza I've ever eaten that I left me in complete disappointment. Also, they failed to cut all the way through on everything that I ordered, so the pieces didn't break apart like they should have. I had to reslice...
Read moreI just ordered a naan pizza and when I received it I was surprised to see the size not even one person can eat it. Then I went back to my order to check the size. I see there is no where written what is the size of the pizza.
I thought of calling them and suggesting that mention the size for customer. Without even listening to my feedback he said it's 11.99 what do you expect and kept speaking over me. I had to say something but he kept speaking non stop and eventually started yelling. I was always suggested by friends not to order from them but I always want to support small businesses. But now I am surprised the way he kept yelling until I hang up.
Lesson Learnt: there is a flaw in meanu as it is not clearly mentioned how big or small your...
Read moreMe and my wife wanted to try Indian Pizzas and found this place close to home. Recently opened and the only place in Ventura that serves Indian origin pizzas. Very well maintained and exceptional customer service. Coming to food - Got the chicken tikka masala pizza, Bombay garlic veg pizza and curry masala breadsticks. The pizzas were BOMB!! Nicely cooked, did not feel crusty at all. Loved them! Felt sought of Chicago style deep dish pizza but with those Indian flavors. Also some small things matter a lot, especially since my wife is a strict vegetarian this place has ranch that is egg-free and a lot of other gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian options. Will try the pasta and salads next time we stop by this place. Keep up...
