This place makes the fish the star of the show. We tried the 911 roll, the spicy tuna was delicious and the rice was just enough to hold the roll together. The Salmon Radish roll...gorgeous presentation of a riceless roll. Beautiful salmon wrapped with a thin ribbon of daikon radish. Delicious. Also we had the Red dragon roll...which was gorgeous to look at...and fantastic to eat. tender tempura asparagus lightly wrapped with rice and topped with gorgeous pan seared tuna and a sprinkle of cayenne. Incredible food and friendly service. I will be back!!

Fantastic sushi but very slow service. There are not many waiters/waitresses, so they took a long time to take our order, to bring our drinks, and everyone's food came at separate times so that one was left to eat alone. They did offer to compensate with a free side of rice, which was kind. The rolls were very good and not too heavy on the sauce as some restaurants tend to be, and the fish was very good quality. Highly recommend the amberjack sashimi.

I have been coming coming to this restaurant for years. The sushi chef, BJ is the best on the west coast. I have not been able to find a chef that compares. If you want the BEST cuts, the most buttery fish, come here. He will not disappoint. I cannot find another sushi places that comes close to the quality of fish and chef. The yellowtail with jalapeño is to die for.

Said our toddler isn't wecome. We went in around 4pm on a Saturday. As we have been doing now for the past 2 years. The food is great. We started a nice relationship with the owner Agnes, so we thought. We tip them well as it's our favorite sushi spot. As we were leaving, the owner pulled my husband aside and she we can't come back with our toddler anymore because people are complaining..... we were shocked. Our toddler wasn't loud. He had his pad, ate his noddles, went to the restroom with me a couple of times, had mochi.... my son did try to enter the kitchen to get his ice cream, it's not blocked off but we grabbed him before he entered. I told him no and that was that. We sat back down. He said hi to the 2 kids sitting behind us.... not sure what the problem is. Also the restaurant was near empty. The owner also said it's not about the money when we said we spend a lot in here and tip you well. How is it not about money??? You're running a business!

To the owners reply: We did not have an unpleasant experience at all. And not sure what you're implying about my sons education.... he is 2. He sat down, ate his noddles & ice cream. Maybe he was talking to loud- like some toddlers can do.... I'm rasing him just fine, thank you very much. The sushi is always so tasty and fresh. We loved this place. It was unpleasant of you to say we can't come back unless it's WITHOUT our toddler. That's saddening to me. We will go elsewhere. We have never had a problem...

Been there twice. Food is excellent. But, the service is horrible. Was just bad the first time, absolutely horrendous the second time. A family of 5 that came in 15 minutes after us got their entire order before my wife got the one vegetarian roll that she ordered. Plus, they got it wrong! Added crab to a vegetarian roll. She then had to wait another 20 minutes to get her roll. Needless to say, she had to eat alone. Plus, they offered nothing to “make it right” other than one “I’m sorry”. Seems as though they care about their regular clients and the rest of us are just second class customers. Gave two stars for the food quality. But, we won’t...
