5 stars....because it's Starbucks. 1 star because of its location.
I'm assuming the City of Thousand Oaks made them close off access from Ave de las Flores and Calle Jasmin during development. Now you can't access this business from any direction except from the north bound lanes of Moorpark Rd. If you're heading south on Moorpark, you have to drive, literally, half a mile to Uturn back. You may as well go to the Starbucks inside Vons.... It's right in front of you and less busy. But if you insist on driving the 1/2 mile back, be aware that you can only turn right onto north bound Moorpark Rd.
There's no inside seating, with only walk up windows or the drive thru, to get your daily shot of caffeine. There is plenty of outdoor seating though, if you want to enjoy the outdoors and fresh air. I saw one person with their laptop so I'm assuming there's Wi-Fi available, but no music for the typical Starbucks ambiance.
If you need an actual Starbucks drink, there's no reason not to go here except for the difficulty getting in and out of...
Read moreI love how the place has only been open 1 day and it has 154 reviews. This because it must be the same owner as the one that closed down by Tilly's. This is a brand new location, so getting ratings credit from an old location is pretty cheesy.
As for my bad review, this is based on the total FAIL on the design of automotive traffic in/out. The only way to get in and out of the property is to enter going north on Moorpark Road, so any approach from the north, north east or north west requires you to drive all the way down to Columbia Road and do a u-turn. When you leave, it's also a joke, especially if you need to head south on Moorpark Road. I can't wait to see the traffic cluster-f--- when people try this maneuver during the day when traffic is heavy. I assume that the plan was that most of the money would be made from TO High School because the only convenient way in and out of the...

At first, she took down the sleeve of the cup. So I said if she could just give me a new cup. This is what I learned from other Starbucks that they should do that. She nodded, then turned her back to me, and fiddled with something. I step to the side and looked, and saw that she was still using the same cup. That was a...
