I had made pre advanced plans to dine here with an industry friend who was a former (- J ) dancer .. I had never been to this restaurant and the location is in the back of the property... Honestly this 🛒 shopping center is..huge"". My friend had arrived before me .and the 🅿️ parking was really convenient.. We dined indoors..the patio area was really breezy. The interior has a Japanese feel and it looks more like a movie set. The server's we're really diligent and the food didn't take long to arrive. We were so busy talking " This,, That and the Other""" that it suddenly dawned on me to take a few pictures. The food was delicious 😋💎🤤.. No complaints what so .. Ever! It took a few days to write a review... We dined on ""Sashimi 🍤 Tempura roll,I had Miso 🍲 soup, 🦀 Crab roll ,Yellowtail tempura,Saki 🍵 etc. I was... Stuffed beyond belief. This location was packed by the time we finished our meal. Unfortunately I included only (2) pictures.. Sorry.. My stomach had no complaints and I will certainly return to this location...
Read moreI have been coming here since 2018. This evening, was such a disappointment. I did not know this chef. He was 3rd from the front door. He had a messy station. His white towel was very dirty as he kept reusing it. Rice was everywhere on him, the bar and on our menu. Everyone else I've ever sat in front of was at least coherent. He kept trying to remember if he made us our spicy tuna roll. At the 3rd time I said yes can we move it along. Sushi is supposed to be elegant in looks and taste for the expensive prices we pay. Our rolls looked like a child made them. Im a raw fish peraon but I actually only ate cooked food because I was so turned off by his handling of our food. Another issue was that over time the soft shell crab appetizer has been getting smaller in size. This evening, the crab was just a small shell. No meat to be found for $14. It's unnecessary to serve something if its not of quality. The prices do not represent the quality but the variety only...
Read moreThe lack of care and concern for food allergies at Tomodachi is truly astonishing. It’s as if they believe allergies are just a made-up concept to inconvenience them.
The limited menu made me feel like I was in a culinary prison, with my only options being the sad, lonely salmon. It was like being on a deserted island with only one food source, except instead of coconuts, it was a naked fish.
The lack of education on allergies was also apparent. It’s almost like they think a gluten allergy is just a trendy diet fad and not a serious medical condition. Maybe they should take a break from serving lackluster dishes and pick up a book on food allergies.
In conclusion, if you enjoy playing Russian roulette with your allergies and like your salads dry as the Sahara desert, then Tomodachi is the place for you. But if you value your health and taste buds, I suggest looking elsewhere for your...
