The Wall Street Pub & Grille - Tiffin, OH — Restaurant in Tiffin

Id give negative stars if I could.. Went at 1 pm on a Saturday, it was not busy at all and at least 3 wait staff for 4 tables total the entire time we were there. 3 tables outside, 1 table inside. Very manageable. We were seated immediately by a host, but waited 15-20 minutes for someone to come to the table, even though there were 3 wait staff walking around inside & occasionally 1 came outside. Again, it was not busy at all...After 15 min my husband went inside to see what the issue was & asked the bartender if we should be outside to order food. She told him yes you can order food outside but did nothing else to get a waitress.. he ended up flagging a girl down who was chatting up a mom & kids ( the only inside table) & explained we have not been helped yet. She said she would send someone. Another staff came out & halfheartedly took our drink only order. We asked her to just take the entire order, and joked we were starving, but she was not amused & flatly said she could only do the drinks & get the order AFTER she brought those drinks(why?). We almost left then & I wished we would have. We ordered 2 unsweetened teas with splenda & a water. Again the wait staff disappear but was visibly walking around the inside restaurant even though all the other customers are outside.. one of the 3 waitresses available ( same one from inside earlier) was coming outside to a table waiting on a single table of 2 people, but this girl again refused to wait on anyone else when asked by the nearby table for service.. she said, she would "get someone". The waitress we ordered the drinks from took another 20-25 min to bring them out, but did not bring the artificial sweetener or the water. Said she be back AGAIN to bring the forgotten items and THEN take our food order,( and no real reason given why she had not done it yet). At this point, The table beside us SAW we had our drinks & asked how we made that happen, they questioned what was going on since there's plenty of staff & yet, no one is addressing customers. They had ordered their drinks before us and waited 40 min now and STILL had not been helped but had not sent anyone in to get staff. They had ordered alcohol from the bartender previous. We explained how much rigamarole we went through to get nonalcoholic drinks/tried to get a food order...and they decided to leave & stormed out. It seemed not to bother the staff either, which also bothered me becausenow I'm doubting they even WANT customers. After another 10 minutes of sitting there fuming, we went inside to tell the waitress to forgot it, we are leaving for such poor service, & she had nerve to have the bill ready! How she did this is beyond me as we told her we wanted food...but had the bill ready before she brought the items to our table??? Obviously they did not want customers this day. Insane. Additionally she charged us almost $8 for the drinks we did not drink since the ice melted & there was no Splenda. It was beyond rude & ridiculous I will never go back there, since they can't seem to get their...

So yesterday afternoon I decided to see what the "hype" was about. Going into with decent reviews I thought it would be... Well more.. Not as in space because there seems to be an excessive amount of that for a "pub". At first it looked more like a conference room with a wedding party or something in it.. Your site calls it "casual" yet everyone looked as if they were going somewhere important. A pub style is also usually centered around a bar itself yet all the seating is as far as you could get. Sitting and waiting the servers half looked lost of frazzled and most of the time were found shuffling through tickets at the server station. Looking at the menu there are no pub style meals... No Irish or english inspired food at all... Burgers... And salad... No shepards pie, or potatoes an kraut or fish and chips... We recieved our water and our appetizer((Italian bruchetta))that had far to much balsamic drizzle) but not our drinks. We were nearly finished with the appetizer before they did come, via another server.. I had ordered the Shanghai burger.. The presentation was not bad. The bun was toasted and looked great.. The fries were however not cooked all the way and were far from crunchy.and the sauce in the slaw on the burger was excessive. The burger itself was ok but the sauce was dripping, where as slaw isn't usually so wet.. The flavor was ok for aside from that... For a restaurant they may do well.. However to call it a pub it falls...

The food was creative. The place is beautiful but it was very cold inside. I don't like wearing my coat when I eat but we had no choice. Service was very lacking and there weren't many customers. She was friendly just not very attentive. My gouda mac and cheese was delicious but not temperature hot. Husband ordered the pulled pork melt and said the beer cheese was over powering, he said it would have been amazing if it had been left off. Daughter had the chicken Alfredo and the chicken was overcooked. Alfredo was good, though. Son had the chunks and loved them. All in all, 4 out of 5. Lots of good, over the few bad. I...
