Dairy Queen Grill & Chill — Restaurant in Tifton

The DQ in Tifton(Tift Avenue) made my Blizzard perfectly a couple weeks ago. I get a Turtle Pecan Cluster. It was blended with chunks of chocolate and pecans. It was delicious! The DQ in Sylvester today obliterated my Blizzard. 😕 What does that mean? It means they mixed it so long the chocolate and most of the pecans were chopped into minute pieces.😡 As you see in the photo, the chocolate is also whipped so long it’s adhered to the side of the cup. The girl at the window was friendly in both stores and service was good in both as well. I’m sorry I don’t have a photo of the Tifton Blizzard, I didn’t know then I would need one for comparison. Some might call me picky, but I like what I like and I just feel like the Blizzard I received at Sylvester DQ was a waste of $5. I suppose I need to post this on the Sylvester Google...

I came here yesterday (1-22-25) and waited in line for over an hr before I could order. Everything else was closed that’s the only reason why I waited cause I don’t normally eat from DQ. After placing my order, I waited another 30 minutes to get to the window! Once the lady handed me my food, I asked her for barbecue sauce because I had order tenders and she gave me a funny look and said she will give it to me this time but next time it’s a 0.75 cent charge. Mind you, I just ordered $30 worth of food Chicken tenders and a burger meal. If I’m already spending $13 for the chicken tenders, why doesn’t it come with sauce? I have to pay an extra $.75 for sauce. First and last time I’m here. Do better in this raggedy...

The service was friendly, and the restaurant clean. However, neither of the two registers was fully working. One was used to take the orders, the other to process the credit/debit cards. There was also one employee who was either being trained or was at the start/end of her shift as she did not participate in serving the customers, merely stocked supplies. This looked bad as there was a line with three to four tickets waiting to order when we entered the store. The parking lot is small but the spaces were individually sufficiently wide.
