Foot-long steak sandwich for $16!?!? I know prices have inflated but any restaurant & sub shops don't even charge this for their steak sandwiches that are massive & hefty filled with meat let alone having such commercialized low quality meat with a fast food franchise. It was already bad enough that the ingredients that were supposed to come on the sandwich was out as well & their lettuce I wanted was all brown & discolored that I was shocked they even put it on clear display. My sandwich was so flat because they definitely downsized the meat portion & limited choices of topping add-ons while also inflating the price. IF it did taste fantastic I wouldn't have had an issue as it was a shocking purchase but to disappointment, the sandwich had a very plastic like taste which im guessing was from the bags of where the veggie toppings come from. I decided to check SUBWAYS national sandwich prices & this was no where near what they charge so this is definitely FRANCHISE owner decision to rip people off. I didn't get to see the signage display of prices as they have it so small in lettering/numbers that I just ordered it assuming it wouldn't cost more than $11-$12 which is still pretty high without any additional meat or special add-ons. You can get FULL BLOWN entrees at any restaurant these days that aren't fine dining for the price they charged. Sucks to see someone run a franchise to rip all the locals off who have kept them up & running for years in Hamburg, PA. But if things arent changed there's NO WAY they're going to stay...
Read moreI got no food because apparently they were closed. they whole time I was checking out I saw 2 women just standing behind the counter talking. doing nothing but talking. the "OPEN" sign light was on and they didn't have the gate closed. as soon as I walked in they both run to the back. the one girl then walks out to tell me that they were closed. and honestly I could only understand the words "we're closed" I asked her how I was supposed to know that when their "OPEN" sign light is on. all I got was "we closed" so I walked out and stood in the Walmart section for 5 minutes while they left their "OPEN" light still on. to me it seems like they just didn't want to work. why else would they be just standing there behind the counter talking, doing nothing and then run away the...
Read moreHow is it possible to screw up baking pretzels? Well this place can do it! Ordered 2 plain pretzels, got home they were burnt so badly that only one half of one pretzel was edible. Aunt Annie would never have sold these pieces of burnt dough to the public, the guy at the counter needs to learn how to use an oven dial. Yeah he was pleasant enough as he puts burnt, inedible, sub par product in a bag. I will never stop by and get pretzels here again and I warn others not to either. When you own a franchise you have to produce a product that is consistent and meet corporate standards. Yeah this guy is incapable of doing so... corporate office should be made aware or this fallacy!!! During the current economy spending over $7 for two burnt pretzels......
