Person came to my place of work to tell me I’m blacklisted from ordering from them because they keep getting my orders wrong on multiple occasions. I get the same 4 things every time and yet on multiple occasions I have not received what I paid for. So I ask for a refund on what I wasn’t given, every time the issue has been with my sushi. I get salmon/avocado and salmon/cream cheese, this past time I decided to get 2 salmon/avocado and instead of giving me the 2 they only gave me one and instead gave me 2 shrimp egg rolls and that wouldn’t have been a problem I would have given them the difference(for reference it is 2.20 for the rolls but 10.99 for the sushi so it would have just been a 8.79 refund) but it’s completely inappropriate to come to my work place and yell at me for their mistakes.
Edit: Not only did the lady come back screaming at me to take this down, she threatened to call the police and my manager on me. She would not leave my place of work till my coworker threatened to call the cops on her for not leaving. It’s come to my attention they responded to this specific post. Yes I ordered from them multiple times before because I liked what I was getting and wanted to give them my business. Every time I have asked for a refund has been because they have messed something up or just switched something without asking if they could. This past time 8/28/24 I got 2 salmon avocado(normally I’d only get 1), 1 salmon cream cheese, 1 shrimp egg roll, and a sesame chicken meal. They only gave me 1 of the salmon avocado rolls and 2 shrimp egg rolls(this is an 8$ difference as I had said before). A previous time before that they only gave me only salmon cream cheese rolls, no salmon avocado. Another time before that my manager and I had gotten chicken teriyaki and they didn’t even give us that, they gave us crab rangoon. All of these refunds have been warranted I hate asking for refunds but if it’s not what I paid for why should I pay for it? I also had to notify my district manager of their manager’s behavior in case she tried to come back and do something because from reading the hundreds of other bad reviews it seems like the right...
Read moreI had the "unfortunate" experience of going to JA Buffet today. I came with a rather large group. From the moment we came inside, the owner was rude. She acted as though it was a real imposition that we were all there. In today's economy I would think that seeing that much business come through the door at once would be appreciated. It was so uncomfortable all around. As we all sat there the owner and some of the employees would take multiple trips past our tables, making us all feel as though we were being watched. When any of us said please or thank you for something, it was met with silence from the owner and her employees. When I go out to eat, I appreciate and expect a nice experience. We did not get this today. I think that the owner, who other people who have reviewed this restaurant, refer to her as "the mean lady" is not very concerned about the reputation she is building for her business. If people in the community referred to me as "the mean lady" I would be so embarrassed and make sure to start treating ALL customers with respect. On to the second disappointment of the day. After finishing the meal and going up to pay the bill, we realized the bill was over by $12.00. When questioning this extra charge we were told that it was to cover the "big people" eating. First of all, this is not posted anywhere that we could find. If this is in fact their policy, we should be informed of this up front. Yes, I am a bigger person, but that doesn't automatically mean that I am going to consume massive amounts of food. I ate small portions of the few things that I ate. Thank you JA Buffet for turning a simple lunch into probably what I would consider to just have been the "most humiliating" experience of my life. I feel as though I was discriminated against. I have never been so embarrassed and insulted just for existing. If you are a bigger person I would not suggest going here. If you do, make sure to bring an...

I wish I would have read the reviews. From the moment we walked in, we were asked to prepay. We had 4 people but one of my 4, eats like a bird. She's 9 but eats like a toddler;barekt eats at all. The person behind the desk was rude and specifically told us, if we don't pay thr $20.00 for her, she can't be caught eating at all from out plates. (Okay, I get it.) While paying, we could hardly even understand what she was saying!!!! $60 for 3 ppl!!! It was $18.99 per person!!! When we laid, got to our seats, we asked for a booth. I stayed behind while my husband and oldest went up first. When I went, I looked around...they have eggs, hard boiled and red beet, sitting out, not properly cold. I did not dare try the seafood! I stuck to the norm. Sweet & sour chicken. Chicken was hard, not fresh, thr sweet & sour sauce, you could tell was sitting. Even the rice, I was thinking well, the rice can't be that bad?!?! Oh, was I mistaken!!! It was hard and crunchy!!! All 3 of us were so s are to try anything else! We did tho, with some foods...and those we did, were hard and crunchy when it wasn't supposed to be! We felt we were being watched, every. Single. Moment. I ordered a raspberry tea with a water. Never got my water and the raspberry tea tasted watered down! The options available are a lot compared to others but they sit and run dry bc no one eats it! The salad bar, fruit bar, are kind of scary bc, they just sit out! The food just ends up sitting! I thanked every person who came & cleared our plates...not their fault. We will NEVER go back. The person at the front desk was absolutely rude and made it feel like they didn't care what-so-ever!!!! I've been to other Chinese buffets where they do watch us and allow my little girls to eat and charge a different price....but this chick...this chick and this establishment doesn't care!!! So, lesseoned learned... TAKE MY ADVICE GO...
