Food and drinks were great, service was absolutely terrible. We waited over an hour and a half for our food while people who came in after us had already gotten theirs and were leaving. They apparently lost our order slip which would be fine and understandable but our waitress wasn’t even friendly or sympathetic about it. I ordered the $30 margarita flight and asked to change a flavor because I don’t like watermelon and was told no because the bar was busy, so I bought a $30 flight with one drink that I wasn’t even going to enjoy. The table next to us had brought their young daughter there for her birthday, they didn’t sing only brought her a slice of cake. Not even 10 minutes later they all came out and sang for an adult for their birthday……. But didn’t for the young girl, the parents were very upset and it was very awkward. This place was amazing. The food is great. Very authentic and fresh. The staff was fantastic. We went for a birthday dinner and the waiter went above and beyond. They brought out a special leches cake and sang and when my uncle (birthday boy) mentioned it takes like flan that he had tasted in the 60's in NYC while working construction the waiter said " no not at all " SURPRISE... he walked out a few minutes later with an actual flan for him to taste as well. He did there and listened to the stories about his construction days. It really brought tears to my uncle's eyes to taste that again. We've heard stories after stories over the years and that was new to everyone. He didn't have to do that. Not one dessert was on our bill... We left his tip+ what the two desserts should have cost.
