Subway — Restaurant in Tilton

For the third time in a month there was no one at the counter when I arrived. On two occasions I had to ask a Walmart employee if the location was open. On one such occasion the Walmart employee tried to find the Subway employee for me, and ended up just saying they could not find them. I waited for almost 20 minutes before leaving...

This past time thankfully the employee showed up 5 minutes after I arrived.

I don't understand why no one has thought to put a sign when an employee is not available. That way I don't have to stand there wasting my time on my lunch break to determine if anyone is actually working that day...

If this is a staffing issue, then maybe pay your employees more. I've seen what you guys advertise for pay and it's abysmal. Get with the times, everything is ridiculously expensive. Can't expect people to show up for work when they can't even afford to live on what 40 hours a week would net them working there... Maybe do a real life assessment of what things cost in your area to determine what to pay instead of keeping your head up your ass and pretending things are like they were 10-20...

Worst (or I guess invisible?) customer service. I placed an order in the parking lot prior to shopping at the Walmart there. Received an email while I was inside that the order was accepted. Shortly after, I received a second email that the order was cancelled. I went into the subway to ask why, because I had no missed calls or anything. As I was about to enter, a customer waiting at the counter shrugged, and turned and left. He said he had been waiting over five minutes with no service and no employee behind the counter. I turned to a gentleman finishing a sub at the table nearby, and he had no idea where the employee went. I left and went to Jersey...

Would love to give zero stars. I came up to visit a friend and we went to Subway for dinner. The guy behind the counter making the sandwiches and salads, he kept correcting our grammar and being very rude to myself and my two friends. He got upset and gave faces to my friends when he burn the bacon and we asked to remake the bacon!! He kept pushing us out of there making us feel rushed, come to find out he rushed us out so he can close up to go outside for a smoke. He made this experience awkward and uncomfortable for everyone. I would not come back to this place if he's still there. You need to rethink...
