Today's experience leaves me wondering why I spend (waste?) good money ordering coffee at Starbucks.
So I had a rough start to the day. Stepped out to treat myself with a Venti Cappuccino. Hoped just stepping away and the caffeine would improve the day.
Drive thru pick up, cup felt light for a Venti, mentioned "this feels pretty light" and the staff just laughed (younger staff, I can see how that might be construed as a funny and not a statement that the cup doesn't feel full). Again, not feeling chipper I didn't want to have to explain so I put it in the cup holder and drove 4 minutes back (since the cup is not a true cylinder it's actually less coffee + foam and more air since it's widest at the top).
When I arrived is when I realized just how light the pour was. Top of the foam was 2/3 of the Venti, the coffee was about 1/2 the Venti. That's paying for a 24-oz Venti, receiving 12 oz of coffee, 4 oz equivalent of milk foam, and 8 oz equivalent of air.
Not the happy experience I was looking for today. Although today is an extreme example similar happens all the time. I often don't get what I pay for. Happens at other Starbucks too.
I never expect 24 oz of coffee in a Venti because of the milk foam, but I do hope to receive...

I go there multiple times a week, and every visit reminds me why I keep coming back. The staff here? Next-level. Incredibly friendly, consistent, and genuinely warm. You’re not just a customer here — you’re seen.
One of my favorite memories happened right at this location: I brought my daughter in for a daddy-daughter date, and it was here that she had her very first cake pop. She loved it, and now it’s a little tradition between us. It’s one of those moments I’ll never forget, and this Starbucks played a part in it.
Every drink is made with care, the service is fast (even when they’re slammed), and the team somehow manages to make it feel personal every time. In a world that moves fast and often feels impersonal, this place is the exact opposite. They make it easy to come back — and I’ll keep doing just that.
To the team: You’re doing an incredible job. Keep going. You’ve got something...
Read moreHi I am not sure where to leave this review but this lovely employee deserves to be recognized! I went in for a late Starbucks order at 9:40pm I was working a double shift that day and had not had any sleep and had to go in for night shift coverage (I’m a nurse). The barista that helped me was so pleasant calling me dear and so on I’m sure she does this to everyone. When she handed me my drink and wished me well with the biggest smile she just put me in such a great mood for my shift! About half way through my shift I was so tired earlier I apparently didn’t notice but she wrote a sweet message on my cup wishing me a good night. She must have seen my stethoscope or uniform and realized I was going to work. It gave me renewed energy for the rest of my shift. Annabeth your kindness was all the difference for me that night and you deserve to be recognized for it! Thanks for serving all of us tired caffeine drinkers so well and I hope to see you soon cause your brighten...
