I’m a fan of this place, however it’s hard to contain discontent when one has a bad food experience. The chicken Caesar wrap was very skimpy on chicken and next to no dressing, and I only asked for no anchovies. It was very dry. It has not been this way before so I was surprised to say the least. The fries are so crispy, having worked in the food industry myself, I can tell the fryolater oil is old as the fries were super saturated with the oil and too crispy, not soft or giving a sense of freshness. When I arrived to pickup the order, I heard one staff person say “oh I hate making hot chocolates” as they made my order for them, and unfortunately this showed as the 2 I had ordered tasted like warm milk with some chocolate flavor added. It was far from hot. It did not taste as great as it had on my last visit. I write this review only because when I spend $35 on 2 meals and 2 drinks, I hope it remains consistently good as it always has. People need to realize this is a resort town that some people call home.This Cafe and bakery was one of the best experiences of my life outside of Paris.I am from New York and was raised in New Jersey.Part of the amazing time on the island is just that island time just like in the Bahamas.
