The Model Deli — Restaurant in Tisbury

This place has it all! Their bagels are so fresh and delicious and the schmear offerings pair perfectly. I liked this deli so much that I went back a second day with a pal to try the lunch menu. We were able to snag a table on their adorable farmers porch and enjoy the summer sun. I had the Crying Cow and my friend had the Strong Island. Easily two of the best sammys I’ve had on island. The homemade brioche bun was out of this world! Not only are the sandwiches delicious but they’re beautifully and thoughtfully made! Can’t wait to go back and try more...

I’ve been looking forward to trying a sandwich at Model Deli since it was written about in the mvtimes. My experience was not at all like the experience of others who have posted reviews. The young woman at the front counter was very unfriendly, no greetings or smiles at all. While I was there, more than one order was returned due to mistakes and no apologies were given. My sandwich was mediocre at best despite being priced well above any other comparable sandwich on the island. I hope Model Deli improves but I probably won’t...
