The location does not serve this restaurant well at all. When we first arrived we were skeptical as many of the surrounding businesses were vacant, and coming into the restaurant there were two doors that caused some confusion as to which way to go. However, our expectations were far exceeded: the service is fast and friendly and the food is delicious. The house special cheese steak was hot right off the grill and the peppers, mushrooms and onions were all fantastic (and for only $10). The portions are on the larger size, but for the price of things it’s a great deal. All in all it’s a great, affordable experience for anyone in the area.

Honestly, I'm not sure what happened. Maybe new management, but i used to come here once a week. Quite frankly the quality suffered. A lot. Over the last year or so it just started to get worse until tonight. Im done with this place. The food tastes bland, the portions are small. I only got 4 shrimp in my shrimp scampi, and it tastes like cardboard. My parents also got tiny portions. The staff are 50/50. Sometimes they are nice and smart, other times I'm not sure if they know how to tie their shoes. Genuinely just terrible all around now.

WOW! They treated me like I knew the owner or something. I had briefly explained we were out of town to visit and are here for the memories. I also complimented their low prices. The kind blonde woman who took my order really made sure we would be comfortable while eating in a hotel. May not seem like much, but when YOU offer and give me more than I need, you've created a new customer. Spices, utensils, napkins, plates, etc. I should've tipped more Thank you. We'll be back in town when it's warmer!

First of all let me just say that I have recently been complaining that I miss good old fashion customer service. I miss friendly voices on the phone and happy employees. It seems very few and far between nowadays. WELL.....I just had the pleasure of ordering takeout from Papa Santos. Mind you it is a Sunday night at 9:45 pm and I have just called two other nearby restaurants who didn’t even answer their phone. I figured Papa Santo‘s was my last resort being that it is 15 minutes away and I know they close at 10. I decided to take a chance and call and was greeted very pleasantly by Tiffany. She explained that the kitchen just closed but that she would be happy to make pizza for me. I was totally cool with that and excited to place an order for my large pie. I then saw the soup on their menu so I figured I would ask about that as well and she told me I could get soup too and added in that I could actually get the majority of the salads on the menu along with any cold subs. I don’t think I’ve ever been this excited for soup and salad in my life. 😆 I told her we were at Split Rock, which is a bit of a distance away and that I wouldn’t be able to get there till after 10 PM. She told me that was no big deal and she would still be happy to take my order and that she absolutely didn’t mind staying a bit late for me. I started to think that maybe I was dreaming and this could not be a reality. I’m used to getting doors slammed in my face minutes before an eating establishment even closes. I was just so amazed by how pleasant Tiffany was and this excellent customer service I was getting! (Tiffany if your reading this you made my night and please don’t ever change. I can tell u have the most beautiful spirit and kind heart even though we only talked on the phone for 5 minutes😆......and that my dear is a rare quality that you should always treasure). My family will now be well fed and we can all go to sleep happy. As a little side note I am a RN who works two jobs and I’ve just come off of a 12 hour shift to drive a full hour to meet my family at Split Rock. While I’m looking forward to this getaway I am absolutely exhausted and starving and am just so grateful that Papa Santos came through for me! Not only with incredibly delicious food but also with down to earth service with a smile! Thank you Papa Santos and especially Tiffany for restoring my faith that good customer service still...

Excellent food! A hidden gem! My kids and I were hungry after an afternoon of hiking and were looking for a late dinner. We found Papa Santo’s on the web and decided to try it, based on the delicious looking food in the online photos. After a short drive we arrived, a little after 9 pm. We were not immediately impressed with the location, a dark strip mall. However once we opened the door to the restaurant we felt comforted by the simple yet inviting dining room. The atmosphere was typical of a pizzeria restaurant. The staff was prompt and friendly. Included first courses were warm Italian bread and simple but fresh salads. I asked our waitress to suggest an entree from three I was considering. She suggested the Eggplant Parmesan and she was right. It was excellent. It was sliced thin and very tender, and there were no breadcrumbs to get in the way of the flavor. The best I’ve had in some time. The kids dishes were Chicken Parmesan (excellent) and Chicken Piccata. The Piccata was bursting with fresh flavors of garlic and savory capers, and was another very pleasant surprise. The staff told us the food was prepared fresh in their kitchen and it showed in the flavors we all enjoyed so much. The bill was pleasantly reasonable and a bargain for the quality of the meals. I...

Subject: Feedback on Recent Experience

I am writing to share my recent experience during a phone call regarding an order for a half tray of chicken parmesan. When I contacted the establishment, a young lady initially assisted me and then transferred my call to a gentleman. I inquired whether it would be possible to place an order for the half tray.

During our conversation, I asked about the pricing, and his response suggested that I was "price shopping." I found this response disheartening, particularly as I have been a loyal customer for many years, ordering regularly. This interaction has influenced my decision to reconsider my continued patronage, as I typically place orders at least twice a month.

I believe customer interactions should reflect appreciation for long-standing loyalty, and I hope my feedback can contribute to enhancing the level of service provided.

Thank you for your attention to...
