Barbie's Place — Restaurant in Toledo

0 stars. The bartender is just disrespectful for no reason. I rarely leave reviews but when I first got here there was no music so I asked the bartender Derek if they had a playlist or something and he said something along the lines of “no bars play music for free and that I shouldn’t expect that”. Granted, they do have a juke box where you can pay for music. But I told him that I’m not from here and I’ve never been to a bar that requires customers to pay for there to be music in the bar, so I thought it was bizarre. He got weirdly offended and I explained to him that I wasn’t trying to argue and that I was just saying. And he responded with “well what do you want me to do about it? You’re young, you don’t know anything. Just finish your drink and leave.” And then a while later I went up to ask for a water but before I said anything he walked up to me and said that he’s not serving me anymore. First time I’ve had such a hostile experience just by making an observation. He had an attitude from the moment we walked up to the bar....

First let me say it was one of those nights that never ended. Barbie's Place opened at 5:30 am. So after being out to last call at a club and going out to eat. Everyone said let's go to Barbie's Place. I had plenty of nights that kept going for a day or two. It was not my 1st time there but it was my 1st time going in the morning. The parking lot started filling up to my surprise it was a lot of people waiting for the door to open. When they did people came in non stop. By 6am it was at least 35 or more people drinking, eating, playing games and shooting pool. More kept coming. Great friendly local bar $1.25 bottle domestic beers all day everyday very pleasurable bar staff owners are great and at some point in most days you're bound to run into one or maybe both of them great people sort of Toledo's version of Cheers the nachos the most plentiful we found in this area they have a BLT I find I can never ever finish in one sitting at amazing prices it's a no-brainer...
