Jera's Heavenly Sweet — Restaurant in Toledo

I learned about this bakery/cafe from my son because they visited his school. We arrived at the bakery/cafe on Saturday afternoon 4/1/23. As we walked through the doors we instantly smelled the scent of fresh pastries. We Purchased peach cobbler, lemon pie, cinnamon roll and a sugar lemon cookie. I try not to get my hopes up high when tasting food at a new location for the first time. To my surprise the peach cobbler was very good. The crust was soft yet crispy throughout the serving, the cobbler was not overly sweetened, simi thick in texture, the peaches were nice and soft, fantastically prepared. The lemon pie was lemony just the way I like it. The cinnamon roll was big enough for 2 people to share, the dough was fluffy yet fork soft, the icing was spread on top in a large amount but thin layered and just sweet enough, we loved it. The sugar cookie had a lightly sweetened subtle flavor icing on top that was perfectly paired with the cookie and just thick enough to taste with every bite, it was one of the best homemade sugar cookies I've ever tasted made this particular way. Oh yes, I can't forget, the scoop of vanilla ice cream for that warm peach cobbler, it was perfect. The ice cream was firm but melted with every bite and on top of the cobbler ♥️. As long as everything continues to taste like homemade goodness, I will always be a customer, thank you Lord for people who put love...

They get 5 stars...we popped in to get some cupcakes for my 6 year old daughters birthday, she didn't want cupcakes from Kroger! So we Googled cupcakes near, and this place came up, and I'm glad we did, as soon as we walked through the door we received a greeting from all the workers and beautiful warm smiles. They all stopped what they were doing and sang Happy Birthday to my Lil Girl when the saw her birthday slash, she smiled so brightly after this gesture! It smells great in the store, my hubby was trying to locate what was smelling so good so we could buy it, it was everything! This is the perfect place to have a meeting, study, relax, or take someone special to get a sweet treat! Now to the baked goods... We got the hummingbird cake, German chocolate cake, a peanut butter cookie, a (sm)chocolate chip cookie (free to my daughter to celebrate her birthday), vanilla cupcakes, chocolate cupcakes, lemon cupcakes! (We also ate a free sample of a cinnamon roll...Everything is delicious made with quality ingredients, u can trll!! Worth every penny; I'm going back on banana pudding and Peach cobbler day! A neighbor brought some cookies to a gathering we had, and everyone thought they were a hit! I came in to check it out, and was not disappointed.

Every single person I encountered in the store took time to say hello and greet me with a smile! Their Oreo cookie cookie is the best. I like that they offer two sizes so we can try them all.

They have an open kitchen, so you can see everything being made fresh. I can’t comment on their custom item ordering experience, but I did see a lot of custom orders being made, they looked cute, and it’s nice to know that there is somewhere other than a big brand grocery store for those special events.

I can’t wait to come back for ice cream and sit outside soon. Great energy here, just...
