Phoenicia Cuisine — Restaurant in Toledo

OK, let’s start with the vibes of the place. It felt like I’m gonna get killed by a furry loser in there. Like half of the lights are off and they kept playing creepy Christmas songs ain’t this Lebanese spot where is the culture at? I would rather kill myself than eat there alone Also there was this Scottish person that was there so I wasn’t alone, he wasn’t Scottish. I am estimating, but he probably is related to Ed Sheeran or something OK for the food I got the chicken shawerma which TASTED LIKE MALL SHAWERMA. I have trauma from mall shawerma so this messed me up. My friend ordered some salad and ordered the large and she was very disappointed in the portion sizes. She was expecting a bigger amount, but she paid almost 9 dollars for two pieces of lettuce in the little bit of sauce...

For being on campus, this food is great! A lot of food that is available in nearby locations isn't always the beast tasting out healthiest, and this is why Phoenicia is such a blessing to have around. The food is all really good and healthy tasting, and at a low price to boot. The servers and owner are all very nice as well, and they do take out! Students can also use dining dollars here, and there is a stage in the restaurant which sometimes even has music or comedians performing. ( They even sell some alcohol, so this place could even be nice for a later in the night hangout with friends). I would definitely recommend students and visitors to the university alike to try...

I have been coming here for over a decade now. The owner and workers are so kind and provide great service. The food is great and sold at a great price. My husband and I met on campus and this was one of our first date spots - and we continued to come long after we graduated. We now live in San Francisco, and we STILL talk about this place!
