McDonald's — Restaurant in Toledo

Let me tell you a story. I usually get up at 4am for work and today was no exception. It was about 3pm today that I started feeling sluggish. I also had a rough day in general and wanted a lil pick me up. "I know," I thought "I'll treat myself to a mocha frappe and maybe an apple pie at the McDonald's down the street!" Hopeful, I made my way into the parking lot. The 1st lane drive thru had 2 cars already there so I drove up to the 2nd lane drive thru. The employee on the speaker finished the 2nd car in the 1st lane's order and then pops through my speaker in the 2nd lane. "Hello, someone will be right with you!" I cheerfully responded with an "okay, thank you" and began my wait. I'm a patient person. I sat there, just looking over the menu and deciding if I really wanted that pie or not. I had enough time to come to a decision. That was a comfortable amount of time. I then looked over at my passenger seat and took notice of my backpack, remembering I hadn't put my credit card back in my wallet from an earlier errand. My eyesight wandered from my backpack to the dead shrubs lining the parking lot and the masses of debris taking cover underneath them. "Ew. That looks like it's been accumulating a while now... I'm surprised they don't have someone clean that up..." I scanned the whole line of debris and shrubs taking in the gross chaos and feeling somewhat disgusted. I looked back at the menu. "It's been a while now since someone has said anything. How long? 2, 3, 5 minutes?" I started rubbing my weary eyes. Did they forget about me...? Another 2 or 3 minutes pass and 2 cars roll up to the 1st drive thru lane. A voice comes booming out of their speaker. I freeze. No way... they aren't about to- "vvYOU SAID vONE HAPPYv MEAL?" A wave of anger hit me as I realized they had begun taking the order of that new visitor rather than, me, who had been waiting for them for ... how long by then!? How long had I waited patiently for someone to help me get closer to the delicious mocha frappe only to be forgotten and abandoned in the 2nd drive thru line alone with no one but the litter in the shrubs next to me!? No longer. I left. Anger and sadness gnawing at me. Emptiness where my frappe should have been. "I will give them 1 star on Google...

All I got to say is I can't WAIT for this place to be shut down😂 From the bad reputation and failed inspections to the unsanitary conditions and unworkable atmosphere this place is a hell hole. Orders are always coming out wrong because there is no working system behind the counter they just throw people in with no training and expect them to kno what they're doing or push them onto other employees who are busy and then will fire them over miscommunication between the managers that has nothing to do with the employee. Cooks are always touching on there face and hair while preparing food, youll rarely see ANYONE wash they hands, everything is STICKY and stays sticky, nothing gets washed between uses just rinsed with water and used again no matter how busy, flies are EVERYWHERE, most if not all of the "donations" to the Ronald McDonald Donations do not get put towards donations and is used as spare change instead, old burgers from previous orders get put into bags of new orders, they refuse to get new drivethru headsets for the team forcing them to use aged greasy ones that have no ear support like sponges and barely hearing anything thru them which leads to mixed up orders, Managers are yelling at employees disrespectfully over things they are actually supposed to be in charge of. There is no benefit from this place as a customer or employee. This McDonald's is a franchise of an owner that clearly is only money hungry or this place would've been had a positive turnaround a long time ago, it doesn't take much to understand the chaos going on once u get a look at behind the scenes. As for me personally I have worked in multiple different restaurant and food settings from the United states to Europe for over 6+ years now- so as a customer I know when things might not be running correctly but being behind the scenes ive now SEEN it and EXPERIENCED it. And I will definitely be making a few calls to some close people to me that will have more control over this way better than I...

The McDonald's on Hill and Reynolds are thieves. My roommate and I went at 2 am to get a late night snack. We had a long work night and this was the only place open nearby. We got in line with atleast 6 cars ahead. Sadly it took 20 minutes for us to finally order even with two drive thru screens open 🤔. The lady said they were only accepting cash, that's fine. As we are ordering they weren't ringing our food up as usual. She said I'll have the total ready for you at the second window. Another car was ahead of us. As we waited we watched how it took for ever to hand out food and one soda. They finally pulled off 6 minutes later (bad drive thru time) and the lady had our bag hanging out the window. Now as 30 minutes go by My roommate pulls up and the lady says "$19.05" we said how. We ordered two small fries $1.39 each, one McDouble also a $1.39 then a 20 piece nugget for $5.00 if you do the math it's $9.17 she tried to get an extra $10 from us. The lady did not answer the question, rolled her eyes, said I'm not going to argue with you, and slammed the door shut. My roommate was mad and tried asking for the manger. The manger was watching the whole thing and bringing up the cash drawer changing it and smirking and not looking at us. Their were 6 cars a head of us and they clearly were stealing from them too if it took a half hour. They obviously felt threatened because they got caught. I would never go back to this McDonald's ever again. We even called the police department they said it was a civil matter and to call corporate. My roommate left a message we haven't heard back . I would recommend to not go here. They are thieves and not friendly. I don't know how they are getting away with this but they're also stealing from the company not ringing anything in and giving away free food to put money in their pockets. They need to be shut down or hire new employees otherwise McDonald's will be paying alot...
