So, let me start by say, I used to love Pizones. After not being able to eat there for about a year, the place has gone down hill. My boyfriend and I decided to stop for the pizza buffet around 12:30. We go there and got seated and started with asking for drinks. I ordered water and my boyfriend, Pepsi. We went up for our food and started with salad bar. When we got back to our table there were two waters but no pepsi, okay, no big deal. She forgot a drink. Oh well. So we went on with our meal only to fine that the eggs for the salad as well as the salad itself tasted awful! The eggs were sitting for too long, you could tell. The salad must have been too close to the onions because the lettuce itself was bitter with a slight taste of onion. It must have been sitting too close to the onions for too long. The bitter taste was almost like the taste of unwashed lettuce. So we moved on to the pizza. I got the breadstick pizza and pepperoni as well as a slice of the dessert pizza. Where do I start? The dessert pizza was cold. The pepperoni pizza was really chewy, must have been sitting a while. The breadsticks, oh the breadsticks. I took one bite and started chewing to find something rock hard in it. After spitting it out, then throwing up in the bathroom (Im pregnant so it defiantly killed the taste for me.) I returned and asked my boyfriend to get me some chicken noodle soup, knowing I needed to eat something. He comes back with the soup and the waitress comes and asks if he wanted more water. He said yes, and she nodded before walking off. A few minutes later she walks in again and forgot his drink AGAIN. I started eating the soup, it tasted like canned chicken noodle soup I could buy at the store for a dollar. I push it to the side ready to go home since Im not feeling well so we asked for the check. Sat there and watched as she walked in and out helping 3 other tables but not bringing us the check. So we went up to the counter to pay so we can just go home. It was $16 something and we gave her a $20 bill. After waiting a few seconds we ask "Can we have our change please?" She responds with "What? No tip?" Im sorry, I normally tip really well but this was just awful. She forgot about us 3 times and the food was awful. No, no tip. I would have tipped if we would have gotten our drinks at all or even our bill when asked for it. I will not be returning, not...

I placed an order tonight for a chicken alfredo calzone, which are delicious, and drove all the way to Tomah, which is 20 minutes from my house, picked it up and drove home only to find out that it was a chicken bacon ranch calzone. I called to tell them thinking that they were going to make it right with me the next time and I was offered one of two options: either drive all the way back to Tomah and bring them the one that is incorrect or keep the one that I have and receive a discount on the next one I order. I could understand if it was something stupid like I got black olives on my pizza and I didn't want them, one can pick those off, but this was a completely different meal than what I ordered. So yeah I'll drive all the way back to Tomah and bring you back the wrong one providing you pay for my gas for screwing it up to begin with. Needless to say I will not be eating here ever again no matter how good the chicken alfredo calzone is. If you make a mistake as a business it is your job to correct it and I don't feel like offering someone a discount when you screw up the entire order...

My husband and I stopped here on a Sunday afternoon and almost changed our minds based on first impressions, but decided to give it a chance. If you are looking for an upscale environment, probably not for you. If you like sports, maybe enjoy sitting at an extended bar, have kids, want to have a casual get together with options like playing pool, arcade games, maybe bowl a little, this the place. They have a good selection of beers (not wine), the bartender hustles to provide great service and our dining experience was quite good. We tried the Pot Pie soup- excellent and it came in hot and homemade with carrot, potatoes, corn, peas and plenty of beef in a perfectly thickened soup. A meal in itself and great comfort food. My husband had blackberry brandy (his favorite and not found everywhere) and we ordered the 10” thin crust deluxe pizza. It was a bit of a wait, clearly not the usual frozen bar pizza and arrived with big chunks of tasty sausage, fresh mushrooms with a great earthy flavor fresh onion and plenty of stretchy cheese. We had to take 3 pieces back to the hotel. Overall good experience and...
