CC's Cafe — Restaurant in Tomball

First time at CC’s and super pissed. I ordered the huevos rancheros and asked for scrambled eggs. My plate came out and I thought they accidentally gave me hard over eggs. I cut into my food and runny egg yoke came out. Instead of redoing my plate the waitress offered to put in an order for scrambled eggs. I had to ask for another plate and extra napkins to scrape the runny eggs off my plate. Even after I told her I can’t stand runny egg yoke. Seriously? How much is the restaurant saving by not giving me another plate of 2 tablespoons of chorizo, hashbrowns and refried beans? Not to mention that by the time I could actually got to eat my food everything but the eggs that I actually ordered were cold. Plus they almost charged me for the replacement eggs. Not to mention the coffee is weak and since most of my food was cold I could taste the cooking oil. It tasted funky and almost rancid. The restaurant was clean. I see on the receipt that she put in eggs medium but I know I said scrambled as I hate egg yolk and never order fried eggs. I just left and I doubt I’ll be back to...

1st time trying out CC's cafe and I can't say I was impressed. It was about 11am on Saturday when we arrived, they weren't super busy, but the restaurant was fairly dirty. Our Server Danielle was very personable and attentive, once we ordered our food it didn't take very long for the hot, fresh breakfast to show up. I ordered the Garden Omelet and specified, no meat. It ended up coming out with meat on it, but the waitress fixed it in no time with no problem. When it came back it was good, the veggie to egg ratio was a bit much, but it tasted good. My wife said her tacos were very bland and light on toppings, she also had the biscuit and gravy. She said that the biscuit was amazing, but the gravy had too much pepper. My sister in law had just a waffle and I could tell it was dry and hard just from looking at it and her taste buds experienced just what my eyes observed lol. Delicious chili cheese burger! When I arrived around 10:30 in the morning, there was no wait time for my table of 7 so we were seated right away. That quickly changed with the parties waiting in the lobby about 15 minutes later! Our waitress was fast in taking our orders, but that’s when the waiting began. It took roughly 25 minutes for our food to be brought to our table. I was just relieved none of us were hangry! I can definitely say the wait was worth it because everything looked and tasted great! I thoroughly enjoyed my meal - a chili burger with cheese and bacon added to it, and a side of fries and onion rings. Typical diner meal, but it had a homemade quality to it, which I’m assuming is the reason the wait is a little longer than usual.
