Review for Domino’s Pizza – Route 37, Toms River (Visited 8/16/25) I stopped in on a Monday evening, a few hours before closing, and honestly left pretty disappointed. First issue was the atmosphere — no greeting, no smile, nothing welcoming when I walked in. Not a deal-breaker on its own, but definitely not a great first impression. Next was pricing. Online, the prices were lower than in-store, but I decided to stop by while I was out. What really frustrated me was the credit card machine — it would not let me select “no tip,” even though that option appeared on-screen. My card was declined four times until I finally tipped just to get the payment through. I normally tip generously (never under 25%) when I’m being served or getting delivery, but I don’t believe in tipping on a pickup order. This felt like a scammy setup. While waiting, I watched staff prepare food with bare hands — no gloves, no visible handwashing, and touching multiple surfaces before going back to handling food. I even tried to take a picture, but it didn’t come out clear. In that photo, there are actually two employees doing the same thing, not just one. Take my word for it or check the cameras. I wouldn’t have minded no gloves if I had at least seen some handwashing. On the positive side, the store itself looked pretty clean, and my order came out quicker than expected. The pizza smelled and looked great — regular cheese — but when I got home, it was extremely oily, the sauce tasted burnt, and although the dough was decent, I ended up feeling sick shortly afterward. I eat pizza about once a week, so I’m confident this wasn’t from anything else. Overall, I would not recommend this Domino’s or return to this location. Between the forced tip issue, questionable food handling, and the disappointing pizza, it just wasn’t worth it.

Is this location under new management?!?! Ordered two hand tossed pizzas (not thin crust). One with onions and the other with extra bacon. Paid $40 for said pizzas. Welp the dough was the thinnest I have ever seen, to the point one slice had a whole in the middle of it. The onion pie barely had any onions. The bacon pie had some bacon but definitely not the extra bacon I paid for. It’s like they are skimping on the ingredients to stretch their dollar. I have ordered from this location many times in the past but this was horrible. Paid $40 for garbage.

After a year of mixed quality from this Dominoes I'm tired of being disappointed half the time. Pizza was over cooked and cold by the time it was delivered. I will no longer be ordering from Dominoes because of their poor quality control.

I would give less stars if it was possible. I placed an order on Thursday night. The tracker went through the process and I started receiving texts that my order was on its way. The tracker then said completed and I looked outside, no food. So I called and the kid said the driver actually just left? Weird, but okay. Waited another 15 minutes and nothing so I called and the kid said the food was delivered to an old address, that I deleted before placing the order and putting in my correct address. Was told the delivery kid could maybe go back and see if my food was outside the address it was delivered to, even though it had been sitting outside at this point for over a half hour. Told them just to refund my money. He said he cancelled the order and processed a refund. Didn’t hear anything so called the store the next day where the kid told me no one in the store could process a refund and I needed to call corporate. Called corporate and they said that because this was a franchise store I needed the owner to call me and it would be “expedited” so I could get my money back. It’s now Tuesday and still haven’t heard anything. So I call again and get the “general manager” on the phone who says no one processed a refund so it would be another 3-5 business days for my money that I should have already had at this point. Urged me to just let them replace my food, which I reluctantly did, because I’m tired of dealing with this. They have children working at this store and no one is professional or knows what the hell they are doing. Would never order again. I understand mistakes happen but everyone I spoke to put the blame on someone else and I...

I contacted the place in hopes of getting some nice 16 mild pieces of chicken wings. I told the place my phone and address, making sure to say Unit 1 since I live within one of those joined buildings. I waited quite a bit and I got a call, the gentleman on the phone told me he got here but the lady said she didn't order anything. I made sure to say he must've gotten the wrong unit number because I told the person who took my order that I was in Unit 1. He said he'll be there in a few minutes, it was around 8 & it's not currently 9. I tried contacting them to see about my order & nothing, their automatic system played but then it immediately cut off. Either they thought I was a prank caller & blocked my number which is very unprofessional given that I made sure to give them the correct information for the address, they keep hanging up calls with my number, or there was an automatic system that prevented me from speaking to anyone that could help me. I tried contacting them multiple times to see where my food was located and nothing. I only hope that this criticism will help this location become better at their customer service & delivery service, if the delivery driver comes very late, I will not be paying & refuse the food. I don't wish to waste anyone's time but I tried contacting through a phone & gotten no response, I cannot cancel the order if the only form of communication is faulty, preventing me from informing the employees there. I'm very disappointed that I couldn't enjoy the food I had ordered for delivery & was going to pay the driver in cash happily. Please select another location until this situation...
