The food is pretty good. And the girls answering the phone are a little rude. Today I ordered shrimp chow mein, I wanted to try something new and looked online to see what it looked like. So I ordered it, mind you I drove about 20 to get the food. I come home to find cabbage and onions soaked in some sort of lobster sauce with rice and 5 little shrimp. So immediately drive back another 20 minutes. So actually its a little over an hour of my time. They said thats how their shrimp chow mein is, look online and no pictures come up with what I described. So I asked for my money back, she gave me the money minus tax. Now the point of this long review and I probably should have mentioned earlier is that I order from there about once a month. And every single time they always forget something! Like if I ordered a combination they would forget the egg roll. One time I ordered shrimp fried rice for my daughter and came home with vegetable lo mein. So as of today, it will be the last time I'll be...
Read moreHave ordered from Hunan Gardens for years and always returned. After today I will NEVER return ! So disappointing the food was not good . The boneless spareribs were rewarmed and had the texture of beef jerky. The sesame chicken was dry and hard and the egg roll was over done and seemed rewarmed . The wonton soup had no taste just broth and wontons . Every thing I tasted was worse then the one before I kept hoping it was just a one time mistake but I just kept getting disappointed especially that I had guests over. The restaurant opens @ 12 on Sunday I called 12:30 after 4 times calling they finally answered and said the order will take an hour because they are setting up they just opened ….. ugh maybe they should get there earlier if they are “open for business” even that I could have over looked but the food was unacceptable ! So very disappointed in this neighborhood restaurant. I...
Read moreHunan Garden has been going down for years..I've never ordered food from a Chinese restaurant even during covid where you are told they don't have enough crispy noodles to go around..That's ridiculous not to mention cheap..They are also stingy with their sweet and sour sauce..Unless you get a quart of sweet and sour anything they barely give you half a cup..The only difference between this place and all the other Chinese restaurants in the area is that Hunan Garden's food is just a fraction of a notch up in quality which certainly isn't saying much..It's obvious they don't care if you patronize their restaurant or not as they know the average person in this area is clueless as to what good Chinese food tastes like and are more concerned with convenience than good...
